Loved this beautiful restaurant, bakery and gift shop. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Huge buffet! Extremely clean with fresh beautiful flowers at each table and around the restaurant. Food was given in heaping portions and everything homemade, right down to the gravy! Nothing was boxed or reconstituted. Truly honest “down home” cooking and extremely reasonably priced! A definite MUST if you’re in Ohio.
We have ate here a multiple of times this time we went during the Geauga Fair time and the place was packed. All the waitresses were busy but we were seated quickly. You can eat Buffet Style or order dishes from the Menu. I looked at the Buffet and it needed replenishing l said something to our Waitress Lydia about the buffet needing replenishment and she immediately had people cleaning it up and filling the Buffet back up. What a nice affordable meal! For $12.99 I got the Smothered Chicken special and it was more than I could eat. A large salad, baked potato and 2 chicken breasts! So tasty! The servers were attentive but not over-bearing. We were there around 2:30 and there were no wait times.
