We always look forward to a trip to Tai-Pan. We go about once every few weeks mainly in the afternoon. The service is fantastic. We love the two women that work in the afternoon. They remember us and what we like.
The food is so good. I get the Hunan Vegetables extra spicy and it's great. I see they do a great take out business as well as the sit down restaurant business.
Everything is clean and nice. I've never been to the restroom, so I can't comment on that.
It's worth a try if you like good Chinese food.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Geauga County! The food is ample, reasonably prices, and prepared quickly without a lot of wait time. Restaurant is usually on the busy side but we have never had to wait long to be seated. My favorite dish is the pork egg foo young. Absolutely the very best I ever eaten. My 96 year old dad will usually get the egg foo yound or one of the milder chilcken dishes. He loves to start with a soup and appreciates that the soup arrives hot!

Ordered general tso chicken and they stated will be ready asap. The approach they took was taking the chicken they use for sweet and sour chicken and mixed it in with the general tso chicken sauce as the “faster approach”. Not happy and I know the difference. Chicken breading was soggy and disgusting.

I never liked Chinese food until I tried this place. Now we bring everyone there! And no matter where they're from they say this is the best place they've ever been!

Can you guys please change how you bread your chicken? Theres so much of it that its just a soggy mess.
Never ever again. Sesame chicken!!! Don't plan on leftovers for the next day. What ever they do with the breading is nothing I have even had with Chinese food. It literally falls off the chicken. Maybe this is normal to some people I don't know. My wife and daughters the as the same well. We threw it all out. Won't ever get it again. I'm usually a person who gives decent reviews but this is pretty bad. Maybe some dishes are better. Again the 3 dishes we got not so much.
The BEST food around! The crab rangoons are to die for!! Crave worthy deliciousness and the staff is amazing!

I went into the restaurant for lunch today, they were doing a brisk business and had it completely under control. I did take out, the order was taken with care, told there would be a 20 minute wait which wasn't a problem since I was still shopping. When I came back to pick up my lunch, it was waiting for me, and was given it as I entered the waiting area. It was very good and the order was exactly what I wanted.
The food here is absolutely terrible! You would be better off buying frozen Chinese from the grocery store. They messed up my order as well and wouldn’t even give a refund! I will never come here again!

Restaurantji Recommends
I’ve been going to Tai Pan since I was a yungin and I always have loved it. The new ownership is pretty good but something isn’t the same. I still like it a lot but there isn’t any other Chinese places around to compare to. My only reason for the 4 star is because I always ask for spicy sauce with most of my chickens and it’s usually an underwhelming spice 🌶️ 😏. It’s also oddly peaceful in there which isn’t always my forte but it is 😌 relaxing. I’d recommend this place for after church lunches because that’s when it busts down 👅. Also I’m annoyed that on the “find your age to find your animal” menu, I come out to be a frickin chicken 🐓. I’ve always wanted to be the dragon. 🐉 regardless, I like Tai Pan a lot and do recommend their generals chicken and orange chicken.

To be honest I had this restaurant in 2013 or so and it was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I actually threw it away..
Fast forward to 2025, I decided to give them another chance, and WOW. It's a completely different restaurant than the one I had in 2013. This is some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. I don't know if they changed owners since then, but everything was excellent. I definitely be back
