The Milan Wine Post has a cozy atmosphere with great food. Limited menu but good, nice feature drinks alone with wine. The staff is amazingly friendly. A must stop. We stop every time we travel from DC to IL.

Stopped for a glass of wine and a snack. Plenty of wine choices as well as beer and seasonal cocktails. Extremely reasonable corkage fee ($3) if choosing a bottle from retail area. Cheese tray was more than enough for two people. Lots of dark wood and plenty of seating - including a comfy couch at the front window that overlooks the town square. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Visited mostly for nostalgic reasons. This was a general store during my childhood.Delighted to find an excellent wine from Sandusky's Firelands Winery.
Parking: Street parking right by the entrance or elsewhere around the town square. Busy on a Saturday morning.

Great selection of wine, beer, and delicious cocktails (omg the s'mores cocktail is fire! ) with amazing service (Stephanie is a rock star and super attentive, talented bartender). The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Can't wait to try a painting class here!

We went to The Milan Wine Post Saturday, November 26th about 7 p.m. Our second visit. The waitress (long, blonde ponytail) asked us for our drink order before our coats were off and sat done. We told her we needed a few minutes. She never acknowledged us again. We called out to get her attention. We raised our hand. We were sitting at a table right behind the bar. She was facing our direction while talking to a gentleman seated at the bar. After about 10 minutes we left and went to The Wonder Bar for dinner and drinks.
