Food was good but not great. My wifes entree came with a vegetable she is not fond of and she asked if they would substitute it one of the alternatives they were serving. She was told no. You have to be kidding me!!!! How big a deal is it to swap out a damn vegetable. My small portion of fish was served plain on big plate with no attempt at any sort of presentation to make it more attractive. It looked pretty lonely on that big old plate. We have been here on several occasions and generally been pretty pleased, but this visit was a bomb. Not sure we will ever return. There are too many places that go out of their way to please the customer.

The Friday evening visit in January was not as pleasant as a summer visit we had recently where we sat outside in a somewhat pleasing atmosphere. This inside visit was in a smaller diner-type plain setting & was extremely noisy. Very tight seating & while I understand the limitations of the venue I just want diners to know what to expect. The food was excellent & enjoyed my Cuban sandwich w/fries & my wife thoroughly enjoyed the blueberry salmon dish. I ordered onion rings which were excellent though overly greasy & a small portion. The Cuban, rings & fries all were rather oily/greasy. Service seemed somewhat slow as we had to wait a long time just for our request for simple condiments to be brought to us. I recommend going in fair weather & sitting outside as it was very very noisy inside though there wasn't loud music playing just the chatter from diners.

Hadn't been for a while. We both found at least four things we wanted to try, so we will be back soon. Our dinners were delicious. That has always been our experience there. Service was good. Like so many places now, servers were covering quite a few tables. Decor is pretty plain, but it has been that way for a long time. It was neither unexpected nor a negative. There have been some nice updates and the overall effect is simple and nice. The desert cake we shared was the only let down. A large portion, but it was only average in flavor and expensive. But don't let that be that last, sole negative be your takeaway. We highly recommend Bite. It's quirky (?) in some of the details, but it's clean. simple, nice, good service, with the main focus on preparing and serving delicious food. Definitely try it.

First time at Bite! We made a reservation and came prepared with Wine and Bourbon . Our friend brought Gin but they didn't have tonic. (So bring your mixer). The food was outstanding! The selection was amazing for such a small house. It's a 1970ish house converted into the cutest restaurant. Kinda hard to find in the dark but there is plenty of parking behind. We will be back!! Highly recommend.

My previous review of Bite was less kind, but we have been back a few times and each time is a new adventure in flavor combinations. I think I may get it now. That is not to say that I like everything that I have had, but I will say that every dish is unique and thought out for flavor. This is not a run of the mill restaurant. Crab Mac and cheese is not something that would usually be on my radar, but it was great. The Bite Flight gives a nice arrangement tho the onion rings were way to oily and the eggs just well, unique? The tots are just basic tots, and that was actually nice. The Trip Down South was great ( wings meh to my taste) but that sweet potato corn bread? Wow! That was fantastic!

This little place is amazing. We’ve been 3 times and the food is consistently amazing. With so many restaurants failing these days, it’s hard to find decent food out that’s worth spending hard earned money on. Well, this is the place!
