My previous review of Bite was less kind, but we have been back a few times and each time is a new adventure in flavor combinations. I think I may get it now. That is not to say that I like everything that I have had, but I will say that every dish is unique and thought out for flavor. This is not a run of the mill restaurant. Crab Mac and cheese is not something that would usually be on my radar, but it was great. The Bite Flight gives a nice arrangement tho the onion rings were way to oily and the eggs just well, unique? The tots are just basic tots, and that was actually nice. The Trip Down South was great ( wings meh to my taste) but that sweet potato corn bread? Wow! That was fantastic!
This little place is amazing. We’ve been 3 times and the food is consistently amazing. With so many restaurants failing these days, it’s hard to find decent food out that’s worth spending hard earned money on. Well, this is the place! It’s a local, family owned, fresh ingredients and amazing food. Thank you, Leanna, for the gift card, Scott and I will be visiting often. :)

Excellent local gem. Food was incredible and outdoor steaming was perfect for a warm fall evening
I love this place & the food is amazing..however, the service was very slow on this particular Friday night. We waited to be seated when we arrived even though the table we were eventually seated at was empty & we waited 10 minutes at our table b4 anyone came over after we sat down. Maybe someone didn't show up or it was overbooked but Bite can do better.
As always, the food is very fresh & delicious! Some people in our party need to eat gluten free...there are SO many great choices for them!
My wife ordered the chef special, filet mignon, in a white wine sauce. It was inedible. Absolutely the worst meal I've seen in years. We had been to the bite previously between 50 and 100 times, and we had ordered carryout from them between a dozen and two dozen times. My wife did not have a single bite of the meat, she only had some of the potatoes and white wine sauce. I did not order the special but did have a filet mignon. While my wife was given a steak knife to dine with, I was not afforded the same. I was left with a butter knife. Their menu has changed, and in my opinion, not for the better. We were told that the “Chef” allows no substitutions or modifications to a special, I saw that as a red flag and steered away from it unfortunately, my wife ordered it. We were fortunate that we left so quickly we were able to go to Goldstar before they closed to get something edible.
Delicious! Extensive menu from salads to sandwich to entrees and kids menu! Coconut curry crab soup was soooo good. All dressings house made too.

I am not sure if we just ordered the wrong items, but our food was not good. We had the Coq Au Vin and the Fish smothered in blue crab. Both were edible but not good. I would give both dishes a 4/10. We also had the fried deviled eggs and the apple, walnut, brie flatbread. The deviled eggs were good, the flatbread was a 5/10. It was too sweet and the cheese was too bland to balance the sweet apples and honey. Our bill was $90.00 and the food was definitely not worth that. Our service was also fine, nothing bad but pretty non existent. I was very excited to try this place but I unfortunately would not recommend.
Lovely experience, food and service a bit noisy. But nothing , that would deter me from going back time and time again!
We visited on a Saturday for a late lunch at 2:15pm. Our server was friendly, attentive, and answered any questions we had. Our food was delicious and well made. I was truly sad I didn’t have any room for dessert. Will be back to try other menu items (and hopefully dessert)!

I have wanted to try this place for a long time. From the first step in the door I wasn't excited. The ambiance was fine but not great. The long bench seating was intrusive with other guests and uncomfortable. The BYOB didn't include opening wine and pouring. The service was more casual than the prices reflect, slow and really they didn't care about our table at all. The food was fine but in no way exceptional and expensive for what you got. I suspect the prices are higher since they can't make money on alcohol. Very disappointed. With many other exceptional places in our city, I'll go elsewhere next time.
Had a reservation but we never got a table after 30 minutes wait.
