My wife and I have eaten a few times at Chez Renee French Bistrot. The food has always been excellent, the drinks selection is good, and the service is spot on. We will definitely be back and would recommend others to go as well.
Our first time but definitely won't be our last! Food was fabulous!!! Service was great, too!!

Everything was magnifique! I never would have expected such a delicious and authentic French meal. One more great feather in Milford's chapeau!
I see a lot of bad reviews... Me and my wife find this place incredibly romantic authentic and wonderful. Yeah the staff fumbles a bit but the this is easily the best french restaurant for 500 miles. The chicken cordon Bleu is a fantastic delicacy worthy of royalty. It is a little on the pricey side but for anniversaries, wife's birthday, and special occasions it's phenomenal. Btw they had a Valentine's Day menu a while back that had a cake that I'm still looking for. It was simply orgasmic dessert. Oh man

A staunch supporter of Chez Renee since their earliest days, I have not been surprised to see the growth in full dining rooms and lively conversations. My family was surprised, however, when we ordered two apps and two drinks from the bar, that drinks were delivered seconds in front of our entrees -- our would have been, had I not asked our waitress to please ask if the kitchen could slow down our meal. The food was still great. Service was fine. But please: either ditch the bar or lean into a slow meal.philosophy I do not mind sitting and chatting with my table for an hour if the food comes out in the right order. I do mind waiting 40 minutes to be served a martini with my meal. I think we've lost that Bistrot experience....
Great French food at a reasonable price. We had Chicken Cordon Bleu, Cassoulet, and Scallop Risotto, which were uniformly great. The desserts look outstanding, but the portions were so large we didn't have room. Nice to have a place like this in the eastern suburbs.
Great food. Quaint, non-stuffy atmosphere. Service very casual (good and bad). Indoor temp in August a bit warm. Nice wine list and reasonably priced. Very enjoyable overall.
It was everything I wanted.. Food was amazing and Catherine was delightful! I had croque cuban with mushroom soup with puffed pastry. The puffed pastry was so delicate and delicious and went perfectly with the mushroom soup. Will definitely come back!10/10 highly recommend! Merci!
I like the calm and cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was delicious and the service above average. The drinks and dessert were pretty good too.

Chez Renée is a little gem. The food is wonderful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that the service was a little slow but that just gave us more time to talk with friends! Don't forget to stop by Chez Albert in the adjoining space next door for an aperitif or after dinner drink!
It was a bit warm on the patio! Recommend maybe some ceiling fans. Enjoyed time with friends!
Fabulous! Everything was delicious but we can't stop talking about the mushroom soup, it was so good.
The food was okay. The service was also okay but not great. Prices seemed high for what we received.
I am a returning customer for a few years now. Reliably good food, simple ambiance and good service.
