We'd never been to this particular Gold Star, but were in the area. They smashed it! It was a busy Monday what with it being Veteran's Day. The crew thanked each vet as they left (there were quite a few). My wife got a bacon cheeseburger and fries, I opted for the double cheese burger and fries with my usual Coney appetizer. Now, my wife's a tough room, and she insists Gold Star has the best fast food burger, if not the best burger period. Pro tip: people often find fast food burgers to be too thin, but I would have been fine with a single burger, though my double was still super tasty (and VERY filling).

A great local Cincinnati style chili parlor! :D All of the staff is friendly, and the food is served quickly and freshly prepped. Good vibe. I love Gold Star cheese coneys with mustard and no onions, and they deliver with aplomb. They bring hot sauce to you instead of having a bottle- which is cool and sanitary.
I wish they still had the extra hot sauce.

I always love Gold Star, especially their chili cheese fries. They’re always fresh and they hold the chili without going soggy. Plus, they give you a tremendous amount (probably too much, if I’m honest).

Worst experience from a gold star owner by far! I ordered one cheese Coney and was replied back with a snarky remark as if I wasn't buying enough from his store! I am a business owner myself and appreciate all my customers! The rude snarky passive aggressive sarcasm is very unacceptable! The young lady at the window handled herself very nicely the older gentleman not so much would not recommend this place the one hot dog I ordered was hard as a rock and it was watered down chili by far
How y’all gone give out unflavored chili if it’s already premixed ? The chili is watered down too much 😑 The one near finneytown is my favorite and the enthusiasm is infectious there too. Only came to this one cause it was close to the hotel. Dry.

My family and I went to this Goldstar over the weekend and I cannot say enough about our waitress, Nae. She was SOO incredibly sweet and it was refreshing to receive such wonderful service!!
The downside--the supervisor needs to be addressed on how he treats his employees.
Place was empty when I went in at 1pm. I sat at the counter and the owners and their family were at the end. I was waiting for my food and a young waitress came over and was filling their containers with hot sauce when we started talking about her playing soccer at her high school. She gets called to the back and then comes and has to take the work she's doing away from me. I have been to a restaurant where they don't want staff communicating with customers. At this point, the only talk in the place is the family speaking in their native language. Worst experience at any Cincinnati chili parlor.
