First time eating the food from Pickles and Bones and we were all in with a catering order for 30+ people. Quite literally the best barbecue I’ve had in Ohio and almost every guest asked where the food came from. Thank you to Cassie and the entire team! What a treat!

Our first time dining here and wont be the last! Brisket was perfectly tender, banana pudding tasted like my childhood, & my husband loved the brisket rueben. Service was amazing and friendly. Lastly, the restaurant was super clean. 10/10 experience

Came here on 9.12.25 with my wife. She got the brisket Reuben and I got the Brisket plate with mac n’ cheese and baked beans. I ordered a side of ribs as well but was told they don’t sell ribs (unless as a special) I was very surprised but apparently they specialize in the brisket. Smart people have always said: “it’s better to do a few things great instead of a lot of things poorly” and they’d be right. My wife loved her sandwich and I absolutely loved the brisket plate. The brisket was so tender and juicy I almost couldn’t believe it. It was by far the best brisket I’ve had in the 4 years I’ve been in the Cincinnati area and the Mac n’ cheese and beans were also just as amazing. They’re a scratch kitchen which means they serve nothing out of a can and you can tell by the quality of the food, here. I was also lucky enough to try the banana pudding and it was the best banana pudding I’ve ever had! (Not even joking) We chose this spot b/c the reviews were really good and now I know why! I’d also like to say Thank you to Rene’ who is so kind and generous with her time and patience. She really helped make this an amazing experience.

I ordered a meal to take to relatives in KY. One of them has a dairy intolerance and Renee was awesome talking through the ingredients to ensure a safe order. My relatives had seen my Facebook posts about how delicious the food is here and they LOVED the food, especially the brisket. In fact, they are planning a 2 hour trip up here to shop at Jungle Jim and eat at Pickles and Bones. It's so good!
