I have always said great things about this place. The food has always been amazing and service good. However, my wife goes to the Governor every Friday after work and today they were kicked out at 90 minutes while they had open seats. The server had allowed them to stay a bit longer due to not being very busy. However, not long after the server allowed it, my wife and her coworker were kicked out. Suddenly it was an issue, while the business had not increased. They spent around $100 and had spent similarly the week prior. I understand the need for 90 minutes, but when business is slow there is no need for adhesion to the 90 minute rule. Sadly as stated before we enjoyed this place and recommended it to any and all that we know. Prior to my current job, I had worked in food service in various positions for 10 years and I can say this is a poor way to run the business. This place has lost our business and future recommendations.

It can get a little packed in there, but they have great food so understandable.

We enjoyed our first trip to the governor! Lots to choose from, we went with the latke (amazing texture), a cup of the chili (Cincinnati style, spicy, and delicious), and the French dip and flamingo burger. Will be back to try more menu options!

I had high expectations for this place, but they were exceeded. Rode down the bike trail on a Sunday and arrived at peak lunchtime. Seated right away at the bar. Atmosphere was perfect with the garage door open allowing the fresh air in. Most tables were full, but seemed to turn over reasonably. Service at the bar was very professional and friendly, which is always most welcome when inquiring about my egg allergy. Beers were fresh and cold (critical for a bike trail pit stop). The food was outstanding and hit the spot. I had the Short Rib Grilled Cheese, which came with Korean chili tomato soup for all-important dipping, and fries. Bartender was great about checking the sourdough for eggs (none thankfully). Wife had the Super Bowl which she said was excellent as well. Overall excellent experience. There are so many things we want to try! We will be back.Dietary restrictions: Allergic to eggs and shellfish

Great little place to eat. So far the kimchi tomato soup is my favorite. The meals offered are so interesting that it makes you want to keep coming back to try them all!

Thanks Governor! As usual you fill my belly with the best food.Dietary restrictions: They have a menu that transforms to gluten free easily. Most dishes are already. It allows my family with this sensitivity to eat with confidence.

Unfortunately I have to give this the lowest. Went in to grab lunch to go! Ordered the Salmon/Tuna melt & fries. Got all the way to my destination to find 2 orders of fries/ no salmon melt. I was in the middle of a trading and drove 10 minutes one way to pick up food. Fries were mediocre. Not likely to return. They did refund my purchase but you can’t replace my time or gas nor quell the hunger sounds my tummy emitted during training

Been here like 5 times at least, my boyfriend and I get something different every time, and every single time it has been absolutely delicious. I’m a picky eater and even I have loved everything. Tiny little place, but so amazing. The staff are lovely and welcoming as well. Absolutely 100% recommend.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kids with their families, also high chairs available.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to get in, and they can set you up at one of the booth tables.

The lobster roll was awesome, but my wife had a food special w/ Wagyu beef that was tough and grisly. I would go back to try more of the menu, so many things sounded wonderful
