First time visitor to Millersburg and the first time at hotel Millersburg. We did not stay there, but only ate at the restaurant. The historic aspect of it was very pretty, but the musty smell really knocks it down a peg. I asked a question about the menu and was made to feel stupid. There were lots of flies from the doors being open to the patio. I ordered a filet and got the thinnest steak known to man. The drinks were good and strong and the total was reasonable
This place has gone through a lot over the years, but they've brought it back to the classics the community loves and the decor is full of local Millersburg history. This most recent time, I had the salmon and my mom had the steak, and both were great. Before they re-opened this time, I used to think everything was overly salted, but things are much improved now and I'm happy to recommend the Tavern to locals and visitors alike once more. Don't skip dessert either!...
