Food was perfectly prepared and the service was impeccable. It was quiet and seating was comfortable. A wonderful surprise with the cabbage soup... vegetarian friendly and delicious; the grilled romaine salad was a delight.

Amazing experience! The food was outstanding. The perfect setting to celebrate our anniversary! Two thumbs up!!!

Our server Marianne was amazing! She was absolutely fantastic. The food, although delicious, was very heavy for a summer menu. Shank, schnitzel, stew, soup, mashed potatoes, heavy vegetables - all just a bit too winter inspired comfort food. We understand the German influence but it would be nice for the chef to adjust the menu for the warm and humid Ohio summer.

We enjoyed eating at Tarragon very much! Braised pork shanks was delicious! I enjoyed the gnocchi.

The starters, field green salad and the gnocchi were great. The dessert, the lemon ricotta cake, was amazing. The ribeye, which we shared because it is 14oz, was disappointing. The flavor was good, the charred molasses and smoked vermouth butter are clever additions. The steak itself was cooked to a proper medium, but was very tough. Much of the fat still was rendered and was inedible. Approximately one quarter of the steak was inedible fat, and the meat itself was tough to cut. This one was disappointing, and the only meal out of the ten or so we've had, where we've experienced that.

Great ambiance and great food too. Salmon was fantastic as was everything. Jordan was an exceptional server.

Smallish menu but everything is prepared so wonderfully. We have dined here for dinner and breakfast a number of times over the past decade+ and have always been impressed. The Chef is both creative and thoughtful in creating Tarragon's dishes.

Excellent meal. Pricey, yes, but worth it. I had the gnocchi, onion soup, and salmon- perfectly cooked. And the chocolate mousse with a bit of heat. All of these were prepared in a distinctive way.

The pork shank with dumplings & sauerkraut & the salmon with creamed spinach were creative & excellent

If I could give a zero I would. My family and I were visiting Amish country and stumbled across this dining. I went in to get our table, the gentleman ignored me until I said excuse me. He walked over like I was bothering him I asked for a table for 10 (no one was there eating) he said did you make a reservation, I told him no was I supposed to as we are from out of town, he went to the back with an attitude came back out said you’ll have to give us a min to get a table ready. 25 mins later we were seated. He came out did not say hello introduced himself, said I only have seven menus you’ll have to share and walked back in the back. After ordering our drinks and not getting them after 10 mins we decided to walk out. For a place that had zero business on a Saturday at 1130am, you’d think you can treat people with more respect

Highly recommend for dinner, as the food is high quality and has exquisite flavor. Chose the venison as my main course and it was delicious.

We had a really delicious breakfast. The omelette was very good and the salad dressing was tasty yet light.

After fine dining at restaurants like Eddie Merlot's, Smith & Wollensky, and Carlo & Johnny the Tarragon was a huge disappointment. Upon our arrival the receptionist looked up but never greeted us. The waiter, Isaiah, lacked the professionalism that is pivotal at a fine dining establishment. The food also left little to be desired and was undercooked. In addition, we were celebrating a special occasion that was never acknowledged. We had high hopes for this restaurant, but needless to say we will not be back.

Beautiful place! Service was excellent! Our server was very knowledgable about the inn, restaurant and area. Food was amazing! Unique, small menu prepared perfectly and delicious! Definitely recommend! We will be back!

We had a lovely dinner. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The mushroom Brie soup was particularly amazing. The menu isn't large, but everything we had was excellent.
