First time visiting and we came for Tiki Thurs. The drinks were great and made authentically with fresh local ingredients (they make their own syrups). The ice is clear, filtered, and elevates the drinks. You can tell they take care to show their craft. Food was great and it was a fun time sitting at the bar chatting up the bartender. We will be back! We recommend it to anyone who is looking for tiki drinks or other craft cocktails.

Wow!!!! Exceeds expectations in every way.. How amazing to find this gem.. Romantic for a date night or fun vibe for a weekend drink with friends.. the menu is French with a gourmet twist making every bite delicious.. there is also a brunch menu with shrimp n grits and biscuits and gravy and so much more.. ask about all the events like cocktail lessons wine tasting pairings wine club soo much fun to have. Go see Nick who is the super professional with amazing suggestions and pointers and brings his great spirit to the table making the night an unforgettable experience.. I’d just say this is more than a must try but for me it is my fun time drink dinner destination no matter the weather this is the place to be.

Buckeye Lake hidden gem. Cool retro atmosphere, handcrafted cocktails and modern menu.
We did a private cocktail lesson with a group of 6 of us with “Ben the Bar Guy” at his Hereinafter Cocktail Tavern and we also had dinner. Ben was extremely outgoing and entertaining throughout the evening. He did a tremendous job of explaining some of the history of various classic cocktails. He was also a wealth of knowledge about the nuances of bartending and what makes a great cocktail. We were able to see how many different cocktails are made and then we were able to drink each of them. These included some variations of old fashioneds, margaritas, daiquiris, an espresso martini, and his own creation - the oaxacanite. Each of these were refreshingly delicious and a perfect mixture of spirit with its accompanying other ingredients. Ben also showed us how to create our own large ice block and then cut the ice block into large “rocks” for the drinks. The food was also extremely tasty and pleasantly unique from most other restaurants.I’d highly recommend attending one of Ben’s cocktail lessons during select brunch services he offers if you enjoy cocktails or if you want to learn more about how to make better cocktails for you and your friends. You won’t regret it!

Each one I ordered was like a work of art in taste, appearance and presentation. And the food is terrific! Don't miss the deviled eggs anytime and remember this place for a relaxing, non-rushed delicious weekend brunch with friends or family.

This is not what you’d expect in Buckeye Lake, this is not a “beer and fireball shots with pizza and wings” place! Hereinafter has the best cocktail game in a 30 mile radius and the food is excellent. The staff is personable, knowledgeable, and eager to make sure that you have a good experience! This is our favorite place to go when we are in town, hands down.

$17 for a single meatball about the size of a golf ball. $21 for a bland bowl of tepid soup and plain provolone grilled cheese sandwich. Dirty table and seat. Sterile environment. My drink was mostly ice. I'm not sure it had any liquor in it at all for $12.50. The menu has a nice style to it. There was plenty of parking and no wait at 6pm Friday night. So there is that. Much better options in the area. I guess others have figured that out already.

What an incredible experience! The service staff was friendly, engaging, helpful and patient. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable (we loved the high backed booths). The food was delicious. We had the Steak Diane and the Fish & Chips and both were marvelous. We tried several cocktails (Home on the Range/Rickey/Southside) that we’ve never had before and all were GREAT! Highly recommend!
