Yummy food and very nice people who runs the place. I used to live in millersport as a kid. So it’s nice to see they got good food now that I’m adult. In the 80s we went to pizza cottage. That was pretty much the only place then

Let it be known across the lands and etched into legend: The Canal on Buckeye Lake is no mere restaurant. It is a culinary sanctuary, a lakeside haven where hospitality triumphs even as the sun dips below the horizon and the doors creak toward closure.
It was the final hour, the witching moment when kitchens usually fall silent and servers retreat to the shadows. But not at The Canal. Oh no. They rose like titans. We arrived, a hungry horde, unannounced and unruly, our appetites sharpened like blades. Any ordinary establishment would have turned us away with a sigh and a flick of the “Closed” sign.
But The Canal?
They welcomed us.
They flung open the gates of flavor and said, “Feast.”
From the moment we entered, the staff moved like a well-rehearsed symphony. Graceful, tireless, and damn-near heroic. Plates materialized before us like gifts from the gods. Drinks flowed like enchanted potions. Laughter echoed off the lake, a chorus of grateful souls fed not just with food, but with genuine care and wild, relentless hospitality.
To the team who stayed late, who cooked with fire in their souls and served with smiles that could pierce the storm, we salute you. You didn’t just serve a meal…
You saved a night.
The Canal on Buckeye Lake isn’t just worth visiting. It’s worth telling stories about.

Steak tacos were fantastic and their house made hot sauce! Enjoyed it after a day on the lake.
