Lighthouse Bistro Atwood Lake

The steaks had alot of fat for $32.00 dollars. My garlic potatoes were cold and my friend got the brisket it wasn't even warm. They brought new potatoes and brisket that was warmed up . They had a band in the dining room that was very loud. You couldn't even talk. 6 people the bill came $250.00 won't be back we use to love this place.

Made our first trip to the Lighthouse Bistro, and loved it! My Garlic Bread Philly Cheesesteak and fries were delicious, and our waitress was very attentive and nice. Looking forward to returning and enjoying the relaxing view and food again!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. I want to preface by saying Demond should be ashamed. While he sat out in his restaurant with his family and enjoyed his time with them, his restaurant is in shambles. If it was a good experience I’d be happy for someone to be able to have dinner with their family while their restaurant is running. As a woman of color, he is giving into the stereotype. I took my mother and grandmother here for Mother’s Day. The whole reason I booked here was because I saw they were serving lobster tail and king crab today, along with the buffet. We paid extra for that on Eventbrite, not a problem. We get there and are told that Demond made a mistake on the lobster tail and king crab, they were out and that he would like to make us a reservation, to “roll out the red carpet” for us at a different time to remedy that. We went on about our day and after looking at the buffet we decided to order off the menu as the food didn’t look warm.. it’s a buffet I know, but we were already disappointed. We ordered two 3 meat platters. They were out of ribs and when our food came out, to our surprise, they didn’t even clean off the pin FEATHERS for both of the platters. Feathers on our chicken, disgusting. Brisket and pork were cold. Then as we waited over an hour for the replacement, we got no ice for our waters. When we saw the waiter towards the end I asked for ice. 2/4 pieces of brisket were giant pieces of fat. The chicken wings and the half chicken were dry cooked to the bone, so hardly any meat on that’s. Garlic parm sauce was broken and gross feeling in your mouth, the table next to us they were missing items they were served the wrong dishes. Our meal was comped, but that’s not what we were looking for, money wasn’t the issue it was the overall lack of caring and pride in a product they are serving at this place. Total disgrace

My husband took my out for dinner for my birthday. They atmosphere was nice, laid back but not so casual that I didn't feel like I wasn't being treated for a special occasion. The service was impeccable. Our waitress Iris was very informative, and attentive. The food itself was top notch. Can not wait to go back!

I agree with the person who commented below this reiview. We were there yesterday & the service was absolutely horrible. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks.. come to find out she didn't even put the order in. Then they brought out the wrong drinks. Our food order wasn't correct either (we weren't surprised). THEN they charged us for multiple items that we didn't even order. It felt like we were being pranked.

Ate at the bistro at Atwood tonight. The service sucked big time.wait for over an hour for are food. There was several other people come in after we had already ordered an got there food way before we did. I think they need to have separate servers for the patio and for the indoor seating.Mybe then they would get your food to you on a timely manner...

The food is exceptional. The two times we have been there. My only complaint is that the music is too loud for fine dining. It is a bar atmosphere

Beautiful spot on the water. Amazing staff, very friendly and quick service. Cold drinks and hot food! All around 5 star experience!

We were seated rather rudely by the host. No one greeted us. We asked for drinks and the host gestured as if to blow us off. We waited another 10 minutes and still no service, not even water. We left and wished those standing in line good luck as we exited....never to return.

A1 in my book. Fair prices, friendly atmosphere, always a great time.

Salad was wilted , brown and wet bag lettuce. Shredded cheese on salad was dry and white looking? Grilled chicken sandwich was to be on a toasted bun and wasn’t. Impossible to eat as bun was soaked wet. First time here since new ownership and not impressed. Won’t be back.

We arrived at 5:30 on Saturday night. We knew they’d be busy, which was fine. They had posted a limited menu which again completely fine. The several issues were because of the hostess. She was so incredibly rude to the couple in front of us, when they asked if they could sit outside, she told them no. The woman looked at her husband to see what he wanted to do & the hostess rudely said she didn’t have all day & to make up their mind. They opted to sit inside. When we approached her she asked how many we told her then she told us to have a seat because the kitchen was backed up. At that point we probably should have left. We watched 3 tables get up & leave outside. When she called our name after 10 minutes we asked if we could sit outside since there were open tables that just needed to be cleaned, she told us no she wasn’t cleaning them right now & we needed to decide because she needed to move on if not. We sat inside at the very back. When we’d asked for 2 high chairs when we put our name in, she sat us & gave us one. We reminded her we needed another, she told us they didn’t have one. There was only one other child in the entire restaurant in a high chair. So only having 2 would have been ridiculous. When we said well we’d take a booster then, she rolled her eyes & sighed & surprisingly found another high chair. Our waitress was very nice & filled our drinks as soon as they were half empty. However we waited 45 minutes for 3 fish sandwiches, & 2 chicken tender meals. Our fries were all cold & soggy you could tell they’d been sitting. The cheesey potatoes were good but cold as well. The food was decent but the hostess is going to ruin this restaurant. We will not be back any time soon.

Meet friends for dinner. I had the fish dinner with 2 sides; dinner salad and the vegetable of the day which was broccoli. The fish and salad was excellent but I didn't recommend the broccoli. They also had entertainment; a gentleman playing the guitar and singing. He was very good.
