Best BBQ in Cincinnati! I’ve been going to Eli’s BBQ for years and I absolutely love it. I’d highly suggest the pulled pork sandwich, mac n cheese, and cole slaw.(Pro-tip: squirt some of their BBQ sauce into the mac n cheese)

Husband and I tried the ribs, baked beans & macaroni and cheese....We loved it!! The rub on the ribs is perfect, just the right amount of tang & sweetness! Ribs were perfect, not greasy, meat was excellent. My favorite was the beans...pepper & sweet...better than Busch's beans and any catered beans I've ever had!! Ordering 10 pounds of beans and ribs for the 4th of July!! Thanks Alvis, they were fantastic!!

This was my 2nd bad experience (slight comment could be made for 3rd--more on that in a sec.) To sum it up: Eli's BBQ should pull out of this deal with Kroger and the Eli's in Kroger should just be called Private Selection BBQ. It's not the same and no one should pretend that it is. Pre-COVID-19, we got a dinner from this location for probably our 3rd or 4th time and had determined, it's not the same, and the 10 min. from our house isn't worth the sub-par quality that you expect from the Riverside and Findlay Market locations. This past week, we wanted to give them another shot, so I got the order together for my family (my wife and I, along with our two children.) To order online, you need to place it a day ahead of time--in 2021. No matter, I checked their site and tried calling the Harper's Pointe Eli's number--which goes to the Kroger main desk. "How late is Eli's open?" The customer service person said, "Uhm,...I'm pretty sure it's 8pm." Perfect, Yelp says 9pm, the customer service person for Kroger says, "8pm" and it's five 'til 6, "I'll have more than enough time"... or so I thought. I showed up at 6:08pm and the only guy working is washing dishes. He told me they closed at 6pm and that they couldn't stay open longer until they can hire more help. I'm not mad at that guy, but someone on the Eli's or Kroger side of things, could update a website or have accurate information for a "department" within Kroger, right? (Just scroll back and look at how much effort I put into just trying to place an order--an easy 25 minutes of my time. I assure you it would take someone from Eli's less than 25 min. to update their website with their hours and info.) In any event, we gave them ANOTHER shot tonight. Showed up, placed our order, and it's just not the same. The quality of food is a 1.5-2 and to further show it's a fake Eli's, I tried using an Eli's gift card....and you can't do it. We'll save the gift card when we can get the real thing at one of the real locations. We're done with the Private Selection BBQ.

Leaving one star because no stars isn't a thing. In the past month I've been to this location 3 times and left without food. No one available, possibly on break. This time multiple pages over the loudspeaker. Its a tragedy that the food is this good but the customer service is this bad. Maybe next time I'll rethink my decision before wasting my time to stop in.

Don't waste your time. Drive 30 minute after calling the store several times to speak with anyone in the Eli's area. No answers. We get there at 12:45. Gentleman says the only thing they have is smoked turkey. That's it. Nothing else. Unfortunate as I have had Eli's at many other spots and has always been great. Fail.

We were having a party for 14 people and wanted to do Eli's Bbq for the group. I tried to call ahead a day before and no one answered so I called back the morning of the party and still no answer. I decided to go in and order and the person there wasn't very friendly or helpful. I asked for rib tips and they only had a few that were ready. Also as told the chicken wings would take 2 hours . They did have pulled pork and turkey and sides ready but had to wait about 20 minutes. Everything was good but would not recommended ordering from the Harpers point Kroger

Have been to this place at Harpers Point 3 times in the last 2 weeks & each time they have been out of ribs. Someone needs to do a better inventory of their stock or close the place down. Don’t waste your time going here for ribs because they never have any!!!!!
