I had the pleasure of dining in Stone Creek restaurant with my wife and a few of our close friends. We were met by the maitre d and older white female named Barbara. She was very sarcastic and demeaning by asking my wife and I why were we at the restaurant. She said I quote what do you want here. My wife replied we have reservations. She then said you can either walk around or I can show you to your seat. Is set a mood that we didn't need for a birthday celebration. The rest of the staff including our waiter was fantastic. I paid attention to Miss Barbara and she seemed very unfriendly every time she came near our table. Then I discovered that every one of my African-American friends were treated badly by the same lady. Get my white friends we're treated well by the same woman Barbara. I left feeling that this was a White's only establishment. In the parking lot I asked each one of them to write a review of the restaurant. The photos is indicative tehan left the restaurant feeling.

Shrimp and fettuccini suffers the same MSG/salt seasoning problem as most dishes at StoneCreek. I’ve had many different dishes over the years and they’re always TOO SALTY. And it’s “seasoning salt” salty. The shrimp were over cooked and rubbery. The house salad was good. The staff are always good. With the location and atmosphere it could be a nice place to go if they’d get a new cook who actually had something other than salt and MSG in their repertoire.

Didn't have the fabulous choice I'd ordered the last time I was there. Soup was great, ahi tuna was good.

The night we went, the place was packed. And if my experience is any indication of normal operations, I may have found my new favorite restaurant.1. My entree was outstanding.2. I tried my wife's...outstanding.3. They have hot Italian beef sandwiches (Chicago style) on the menu. Which I cannot find anywhere in Cincinnati.4. The atmosphere was 1st class but the lighting was almost a little too dark, but only almost.5. The service was also outstanding.I've already told a few people about this place and cannot wait to go back and get the hot Italian beef!

This is our second time to Stone Creek, and it will become one of our regular Saturday evening dining choices. The service is exceptional, which over the past couple of years, has been hard to find at any restaurant. The food was excellent. The three of us each had a different steak entree, all cooked to perfection. A hidden gem.

The food is good, but the staff makes me return. The manager stopping by to confirm everything is to my expectations is a pleasant touch. My steak was cooked to perfection as well.

We got the booth I had requested; my guest and I ordered fish sandwiches without the bread--which were delicious. Coffee wasn't acidic, but mellow, and the fries were outstanding. The service was perfect--with waiter attentive when needed but not bothering us as we were having extended conversation.

Great service, very attentive and caring. The food was abundant and very tasty. We had two appetizers, Spiced Shrimp and Ahi Tuna, followed by a large side salad and then a ribeye steak and ab order of ribs. All were delightful. Since it was our 46th wedding anniversary, they even gave us a dessert, which was delicious.

I really don't like to give 5 stars across the board. But, honestly, Stone Creek Dining deserves it. We visited here late one evening to celebrate my grand-daughter's confirmation. Such a lovely place. Stone Creek closed at 9:00 pm, and we had to make our reservations for 8:45. They did not even blink, but only said because of the late time to come with our dinner choices ready. But we did not feel rushed in the least. To begin with, we were served warm bread with a spicy olive oil dip with our veverage order. Quite good. They also brought butter for those who preferred. The salads were all fresh and tasty, even though our reservation was for 15 minutes before the kitchen closed. For an appetizer I ordered the shrimp cocktail. The five shrimp were very large and nicely chilled -- even the plate. Several of us chose the filet mignon for our entrees. Whether 6 oz or 8 oz, the result was still the same. Perfection. I appreciated that there were a couple sizes from which to choose. I don't believe I have ever had a better-cooked filet. I could almost cut it with a fork, and it was cooked perfectly as I asked. The only thing I would say is that it comes with parmesan cheese cooked onto the top of the steak; and while it was quite good, I am normally quite the steak purest: salt, pepper, garlic. done and done. So, just a note for people with similar tastes. I would say, if you want a good steak of any kind, this is the place to go.The steak dinner came with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus with herb butter. Delicious. There was not a HUGE amount of potatoes, which I so appreciated (because when I order a steak dinner, I want it to be steak-forward!), and the asparagus was cooked perfectly -- a tender crunch. My husband ordered the Bucatini, which was equally delicious and very meaty. There was not a complaint with any dish that was ordered.Overall, Stone Creek Dining is a lovely place to dine. The decor was understated, but elegant. The service was great, and everyone was kind. They took the time to take us to the wine vault for a family photo, which was very thoughtful. I would highly recommend visiting Stone Creek Dining for any occasion, or just if you want a perfect meal in a lovely environment.

My husband and I each ordered different entrees. Both were so salty that it was almost on the verge of inedible. We were seated near the kitchen even though we had a reservation and it was very distracting. Bread/soup/salad was excellent. Service was 4 stars. Would have given that a higher rating, but our server reeked of cigarette smoke. We have had enjoyable experiences there in the past, but will not be going back there anytime soon.
