Stopped in for a beverage at the bar. Had their Margarita special. Service was slow, the bar tortilla chips offered were stale, the dip for the chips was tasteless, and if there was alcohol in the drink, it was undetectable. Will not return.

This is BY FAR my favorite Mexican restaurant in Dayton. I’ve been to both locations and they are consistently great. The guacamole and salsa are so good I have to stop myself so I save room for my entree. So flavorful and just perfect. Service was also great and the environment is very family friendly!! I would give 6 stars if i could.
My wife and I shared a great meal at Chiapas on Alex Bell. The food was authentic and tasty. I thought the mole sauce was very good. The beer list is solid and the service was great. Wish they had a hot sauce of some kind. I requested it and they brought me taco sauce. We will be back.

Food was good and portions were larger than expected. The only downside to the visit was our waiter was very seldom seen to get refills and it was mostly empty in the restaurant.
