This was our first time at Cru. Our waitress was amazing! The Somalia was wonderful, but our food was just ok. I got scallops and my husband got the Iberico pork. The pork was dry and had no seasoning.and although the scallops were ok, I've had better at other places for much less money. Again, the experience was great, just wish the food was better.

For some reason our reservation was mistaken for 2 instead of 4 and i had to ask twice to amend . It took 1 hour for the waiter to bring us menus , seriously. and I had to ask for it 45 minutes before the entree. The waiter was NOWHERE to be found during the 3,5 hours we spent there. The food and the place were great. The service makes me not want to return

Absolutely amazing experience all around. The plating was beautiful and the food was delicious. Hands down the best steak I've ever had! We will definitely be returning.

Lovely atmosphere. Excellent service. Loved the quietness so we could talk. One of my sisters ordered the Coquille St Jacques. For $75 dollars, she received 3 scallops and a small dish of breaded cauliflower. Truly, that's just not right. So much money for so little food. another sister ordered the beet salad, only there was no lettuce. Just a few beets on a plate. So strange. And that was $18. Someone ordered an apple dessert. But there was only 3 bites to the dessert and the scoop of ice cream that accompanied it was just over a tablespoon full. So we were disappointed with the amount of food served for the prices charged.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Great service. The steak and scallop dishes were both delicious. The variety of breads and butter before the meal were also very tasty.

We were in from out of town, looking for an elevated meal and Cru didn't disappoint. From its warm, smart service to its beautifully executed plates to its outstanding glass-pour options, it's a restaurant I'd recommend to anyone looking for a high-class (but not snooty) spot.

Truly exceptional experience. I have been returning over the years since it first opened and the food, service, and overall experience just keeps getting better. Last night was the best meal I've ever had in Cleveland and outperformed several 2 star Michelin meals in NYC.

Cru Uncorked provides an elegant atmosphere coupled with timely service and beautiful, tasty food. Our server Michael and his assistant Olivia were very low key but very capable making for a relaxed dining experience. The octopus and steak tartare were memorable. The sea bass special needs retooled as the individual components were excellent (sea bass and risotto) but the introduction of a blueberry gastrique and blackberries pushed the dish to close to inedible. Elk, venison, duck would have worked...sea bass...not so much. The salted caramel crème brûlée was a star and the cappuccinos were a perfect pairing. Cocktails of Paper Moon and Kenny Lofton almost stole the show!

We were celebrating a birthday, and Cru was a special treat. The wait to start the evening was longer than we expected. This was the only part of the dinner that was not excellent. Once we ordered wine and the bread service began, the rest of the evening was a real joyous treat. We split the octopus starter, and we were glad that we did. The portion was very generous and easily fed both of us. My wife had the halibut, and she said that it was outstanding. I had the bone-in pork chop. The flavors that accompanied both of the main dish were superb and offered a different taste on every forkful. We were really full from the starter and the entree, but the waiter said that because it was my birthday, a dessert would be free. The tri-color sorbet was delicious. All and all, we had a wonderful time. Cru is expensive, but the ambience, the service and the food are worth the expense.

This is our favorite restaurant and it is always delicious. They have an outstanding wine selection, and the food is consistently innovative and mouthwatering. Last nights trip was no different. We are looking forward to returning again soon. This is easily the best restaurant in Cleveland.
