Flour - Italian Kitchen

The restaurant itself is great. The parking situation is very frustrating. There are not enough parking spaces, and there isn't any adequate signage stating that valet parking is complementary. Therefore, diners are having to park across the street and navigate crossing a busy, fast, non-pedestrian-friendly road (in the bitter cold). What I suggest is to park the valeted cars across the street and leave parking around the restaurant for those who want to self-park. Otherwise, it's a dangerous, unpleasant situation.

Outstanding. Every dish was creatively conceived and skillfully executed. Thomas, our server, was engaging and helpful. You can tell that everyone here genuinely cares about their particular role and strives to provide a memorable dining experience.

To be clear, Flour is my favorite neighborhood joint and if necessary, I can walk home from there (never had to). That said, the food and drink prices are getting to the point that I have been limiting my visits--$245 for three people which included an app, a pasta, a pizza, a $44 piece of fish and three $20 drinks is getting on the pricey end. Not sure if anything can be done about this given food costs, but Flour is no longer a "stop in and get a quick/cheap meal" place for me.

Ceasar salad was delicious, but our entree of salmon and a side of crispy potatoes was not up to the standards of flour. We sent both back, the salmon center was raw and the potatoes were very hard. The complimentary dessert of sticky toffee pudding was delicious but very very tiny. We were told they serve half portions because people found this dessert was very rich and only ate part of it.?? We will go back again because it is one of our favorite restaurants and every chef has a bad night once in awhile.

Wow...Flour is sooooo good....the food is terrific. I had the January special...1/2 pan roasted chicken over spatzel with chicken jus...OUTSTANDING and a good value...my other two diners both had the bolognese pasta and were VERY happy to learn it came in two sizes again...while both had the regular helping becasue it was plenty of food it was nice to know if they wanted leftovers they could order the large size. Couple the great food with great service. I think our servers name was Sarah and she could not have been more accomidating. Checking on drinks, bringing bread AND extra jus for the chicken and all with a smile! You will LOVE Flour!

Always have a good meal at Flour! Wood fire pizza is excellent! Our server was good but sometimes did not check back on us for quite some time. Overall the experience was very good.

I always have a good experience here. However, yesterday when I dined there for lunch it was disappointing. I have Celiac as well as a dairy allergy so there are already very limited items I can eat. I always order the sausage stuffed peppers without cheese. I sent the peppers back FOUR times because the sausage was pink on the inside. Needless to say, after the fourth time, I left without eating. But, my experience with James (server) was outstanding. He is kind and conscientious and takes pride in his job.

Unfortunately, service issues ruined my recent visit to Flour. Shortly after being seated, the waiter spilled water on my coat and the floor; remarkably, he didn't apologize or even attempt to clean it up. The neglect continued as our server was visibly distracted by his phone throughout the service, forcing us to flag him down just for basic drink refills. Although the food was tasty, the soup was served at an unappetizing lukewarm temperature.

I heard good things about this place so I came to check it out. I was seated instantly on a Friday night which was extremely busy. My food came out literally 5 minutes after I ordered. I had the lamb rigitoni and it was amazing. Sierra was my server and she was polite and efficient. Will definitely be coming back.

Had a great time. Our waitress was excellent. She was attentive, lively, and a lot of fun. Food was average and a bit pricey. It's quite loud in the restaurant. Felt like I was at a ball game.

Burnt food, terrible service, high prices. Absolutely disappointing what happened to this place.

The food was absolutely disgusting, both of our dishes were burnt and inedible. Kitchen was backed up beyond belief. Such a disappointment, terrible service. NEVER going back.

Excellent all around experience. Food was good for the price. Would recommend the lamb rigatoni. Waitress was fantastic, ambiance was very calm and demure. Would definitely go back for a special occasion.
