Building is beautiful, service was great. The food was just ok, when your used to getting steak from a butcher it’s just not that good here. I had a filet which was tough compared to butcher filet. My husband got the dry aged sirloin which had good flavor but was very tough. We order our steak rare to mid rare. The tuna tartar was covered in a mayonnaise sauce which to us is disgustingly processed. My sister got the chicken which also does not compare to butcher chicken. It was just mediocre for the price.
It was our first time dining here and we came for our anniversary dinner. I must say that we were EXTREMELY IMPRESSED!
Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing! We had the cocktail shrimp appetizer, which was what you’d expect. We tried the Bee’s Knees and Texas Blush - both of which were very enjoyable. Small Martini glasses but stiff pours. I also would like to point out that they bring each drink in its own shaker.
For entrees, we had the Lobster Bucatini and the Chicken Milanese with Brussel sprouts and delmonico potatoes. As delicious as these both were, we still needed a to-go box for the generous portions!
Because it was a special occasion, we also did dessert, which was the Warm Butter cake. It absolutely stole the show!!! It was served a-la mode and the ice cream was the perfect compliment!
As far as service goes, Sarah was the best! She took great care of us.
The only thing I’d like to see improved was the time it took to get our beverages and appetizers.
Overall, we would definitely recommend this place and we will absolutely be repeat customers!!
The halibut niciose wasn't the best I've had, just ok. The green beans baby potatoes that came with it were under cooked. I would have ordered the sea bass, but the others ordered entrees that came with small sides and I didn't want a whole bowl of vegetables just for myself. Need to offer a vegetable with an entree. Parking is ridiculous. Valet for such a small lot? Our server Gia was great!
ML Tavern was fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. Everything from start to finish exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be back!
Always enjoy ML - a great treat for us. Wide selection of foods - appetizers and entrees. Attentive service always top notch.
The experience I had with ML Tavern for my mother's 89th birthday was nothing short of spectacular. From the wait staff to the food itself, I couldn't have asked for a better time for my mother. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our time at ML Tavern. We both had fish dishes that were simply delicious and the shrimp appetizer was simply divine!!!! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
Food was great! Very traditional, nothing stood out as excellent though. There was no creativity on the menu, which left me feeling like there was always a pivotal ingredient missing from each dish
Food was mostly good. Mashed potatoes were a little runny and a very skimpy portion. Tried 3 different vegetable side dishes, all were a bit undercooked for my taste, but that may be a personal preference. Small filets were excellent. Service was very good. A bit too noisy atmosphere for my taste. Definitely not a value considering the high prices and small to moderate portions.
Excellent dinner experience. Food and service both excellent. Oysters on the half shell (from Maine) were nicely presented with appropriate condiments -- and were delicious. Chopped wedge is outstanding and can be split onto two plates to make sharing an appetizer and salad easy. Parmesan crusted sole was a healthy portion and very nicely prepared. Ditto for the lobster tail -- great presentation and very flavorful. Wine list is fine but could use a tad more variety. I'd suggest trimming the Sauv Blanc and Cab offerings a bit and adding some $75-125 bottlings of CDP, Rhone reds, Italian whites and a couple of Washington/Oregon Syrah blends. I'd also up the ante on the Rieslings offered -- go dry and Austrian/German. Overall excellent dinner, enhanced by fine service.
We gathered to celebrate our granddaughter's 19th birthday, and the atmosphere was alive with joy as we hosted a cozy party of nine. Elizabeth, with her warm and attentive demeanor, provided us with personalized service that made the evening feel extra special. Each dinner was a culinary delight, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, turning our meal into a memorable feast. Every bite was exceptional, leaving us all in high spirits as we cherished both the food and the wonderful company.

I feel like I got cheated from an awesome experience because of my waiter Adonis. he was not rude, he was just inpatient, he didn't recommend any toppings for my steak and was so matter of fact, he said he been there for a while like 8 years but it was so rushed and he was a somewhat of a mr know it all, I would go back but I would want a different server, he like finished my sentence and didn't take my request seriously it ruined the mood, the steak was ok, Def not in my top 5 steak house in the area!
Very good restaurant., highly recommend everything about it, especially for a special occasion. 7 oz filets were perfect, au gratins, asparagus, and mushrooms were all complimentary sides. Awesome shrimp cocktail, served differently than any steakhouse I have been prior.
Elizabeth is the best! Couldn't ask for a more attentive, nice AND funny waitress! Their food is delicious! Made my steak PERFECTLY (blue blue, barely kisses the grill might as well say raw) definitely going there again!
This restaurant was very nice and very busy , we had a great waitress Kelly . She was so sweet and helpful. She definitely made our experience great .
Great food and amazing service!
