We order Chengs all the time and have never been disappointed. We even give special orders and it is correct every time. Truly for a small town place, this restaurant is really really good. The food is cooked to order and fresh. Service is quick as well. In Mount Gilead, there are only two real options for dinner. This place and the Mexican restaurant just down the street. The only drawback is sometimes they are closed for personal reasons, but that hasn't happened...
We have eaten take out from them on many occasions. Recently we went there on a Saturday and they weren't open. The sign read, it was due to personnel issues. This seems to be happening more often. They used to be pretty reliable. If you can't count on an establishment to be open, it ceases to be your first thought of an option when you are hungry. They have good food but they maybe should hire some outside help, other than family.
