The place to go on a Friday night in little old Mt. Gilead. There was a line out the door, but it moved very fast. It was my first time here & I can’t wait to go back! Classic small town Mexican food. Good rice, good beans, piping hot enchiladas, with a nice balance of sauce- I hate when it’s drowning & soggy. I noticed most of the dishes are chicken or beef & was hoping for more pork options. They also don't have Birria, so maybe there’s room for growth!The service is speedy & kind. The endless chips & salsa are wonderful. My strawberry margarita was perfect!As a newbie, I had no idea I had to take my check to the counter to pay, so everyone was staring at us like “take your boxes & go,” but we didn’t know why lol.A delicious food option & dining here supports the local economy, win/win.

We went for lunch Sunday afternoon. I got the Cali Burrito. So full of flavor! Steak, peppers, onions & cheese in a grilled tortilla. It came wrapped in foil with no sides, but it was so delicious that I found I didn't need anything else!As usual my husband got the Super Burrito. That is a large burrito with all the trimmings! The food is great, excellent service and friendly atmosphere are why we visit on a regular basis.Kid-friendliness: They have many options for children including chicken nuggets and French fries. My granddaughter loves the cheese quesadilla.

Two of the three meals we ordered came out. Had to wait 10 minutes for the third meal. What we had ordered is not what we got and our drink order was even messed up When I finally got the waitresses attention. She was very rude and very condescending would not recommend this place.
Exhaust fans don’t pull out food smell , your cloths/hair will smell bad after you leave restaurant and check out your bill before paying items were added to ours that we didn’t order, not much taste to the food nothing special

The food was great! I had a pork burrito. It was a good size, very filling meal. The pork was moist and tasty. The rice went well with the burrito. I had water to drink with it, which was refreshing. We were there on a busy Saturday evening. The service was good and the food on our table in a reasonable amount of time. I will definitely be eating here again.
