I understand that all restaurants can be hit or miss, depending on the night, even chain pizza restaurants can make a good pizza every now and then. That being said, since the new owners have taken over it is almost always a “hit”. You can tell they and their employees put a ton of pride into quality and consistency. If you’re not from around MG or haven’t tried a Purple Indian Pizza in years, please do yourself a favor and stop in, you won’t regret it.

Food and service was amazing. The pepperoni pizza make of three different types of pepperoni that crispy and yummy.Extremely friendly family owned business, it's a bit out of the way but it's definitely worth the trip! Every part of the pizza is very well balanced, not salty or sweet. They load up your pizza edge to edge with cheese and toppings, and the crust is so tender and delicious. Will definitely be going back!

I have always loved this pizza place, but i currently have an issue going on with my eye from getting somthing in it at work, and one of the employees thaught it was funny to say i got punched in the eye as i was walking out so i wont be
We ordered 2 peps and garlic cheese sticks. We called back and ordered a medium specialty pizza. Son didn’t realize there was a 4th item. We called and they had already refunded our card and told us if we still wanted it, it was on the house!Great pizza and customer service!! Thank you Purple Indian!!

Purple Indian has been a local favorite for as long as I can remember. They switched owners a couple years ago but kept the same recipe. It is as good as ever in my opinion. You can dine in or take out. Recently it cost $27 for a large pizza, a sub and an order of parmesan garlic knots, it was enough to feed three adults with left overs.Purple Indian is located on State Route 95 on the west side of Mount Gilead behind Subway and the car wash. It is barely visible from the road. Pull in between Subway and Park National Bank and drive all the way to the back. There is a small paved lot directly in front of the of the restaurant with a gravel overflow lot off to the east.
