Fantastic setting. Love the environment they have created. The coffee and sweets are amazing. I got the blueberry muffin, the breakfast sandwich, and a honey lavender latte. All are delicious. Great service and lots of stuff to look at on wall, tables and around the entire shop.

I was a visitor to Mt. Gilead just looking for a local cup of coffee, but this place is so much more than just a coffee shop! It has indoor seating, a delicious little menu, and seasonal specials in addition to an extensive coffee selection. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. I’d love to go back and try more menu items and coffees!

Worth the drive, no matter how far! If you are a coffee aficionado, or you just appreciate GREAT coffee, espresso, or cappuccino with exceptionally good food, this IS the place. The soufflé is exquisite. The pastries are amazing and melt in your mouth! And to top it off, the staff is warm and welcoming, friendly, and brings a hometown atmosphere that is akin to Mayberry. What an absolute delight!

A gem in MG! I am continually surprised that this place isn’t packed 24/7. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere are all wonderful. I highly recommend the garden soufflé breakfast sandwich or the loaded avocado toast! Ever since the ownership changed, I have loved everything I’ve tried. Coffee and espresso drinks are always great. The owner, Mandy, and staff are all so kind. This is a great, small-town cafe where you can slow down, take a breath, meet friends, find cute gifts, get some work done, etc. ♥️
The owner is a delight, and we enjoyed a late lunch and a delicious Americano Coffee. Espresso and other coffee is roasted by the owners, and it is really good y'all!

Stopped for a quick breakfast- Sames & Cook in Mt Gilead. An adorable little coffee shop downtown where they have table service. Our server was amazing-very attentive, friendly and informative of things on the menu as was the girl behind the counter when we went up to pay. The food was good, however, my iced latte was lacking something.
