Found a lovely spot in Mt.Vernon called Barb's Diner. Amazing breakfast and the service was perfect. Will return whenever in Mt Vernon.
The food is good and fast. Prices are also good. It can be very loud. Some people talk to each other across the room to others. I'm sure this doesn't happen all the time though.

We had cheeseburgers and onion rings the burgers were cooked perfectly the burgers are juicy and the onion rings are fresh cut and made order. What more could you ask for?!
