“The live music by Confederate Rose was incredible!! They put on a great show!! There weren't too many people in the bar that night though. It was a shame that more people weren't there to listen to some great music. Maybe some advertising by the bar management about live events they book might help?“

“Had a delightful evening with a good friend to celebrate her birthday. It was a Sunday evening in the winter so the restaurant wasn't particularly busy or crowded. Our server was delightful and helpful, making suggestions for menu items we might particularly like. We started with appetizers which came out in a timely manner and were hot and tasty and generous portions. Highly recommend the Calamari. The mussels came with delicious garlic and butter crostini. Of course we had to have the famous Mazza's salad and will apologize to all our family and friends for our garlic odor for the next 2 days :) There were so many delicious sounding choices for main courses it was hard to decide what to have. Prices were reasonable and everything was tasty.“

“I have given a fair sampling to every bar in Mount Vernon and this one has the most games, the friendliest crowd with the best taste in music and the staff keeps it entirely 100! I am not easy to impress but I am sincerely impressed by how they run their business. There is no drama and it is safe. I would like to see more people support bars like this but then again, I don't want people to go in there and trash it up.“
