Really good food for a reasonable price. Glad to have food options that are otherwise hard to come by in this area! They’re a great option for vegetarians looking for more variety than just salad. Staff is super friendly and the restaurant smells great. I’ve only ever gotten carryout so I can’t speak to the dine-in experience.

I stopped in to order carryout- and I felt like I was walking into someone’s home- always a good sign to me. I ordered the Chana masala- with a level 5 (medium) spice. The food was hot, fragrant and delicious. Excellent portion size, especially for the price (I’m so used to Columbus prices). Already looking forward to a return visit.

We love eating at Bombay Gardens. We love the variety of Indian dishes available here and the family that run it are wonderful. BYOB as it's not licensed for alcohol but you'll have a great time and meal. Food is good and generous sized portions.

This was such a cozy little place with amazing food. As soon as you walk in the door you get hit with the amazing smell of spices. You don't need to worry about it being too hot or not hot enough because when you order they have a spice scale for you to choose from no matter what dish you get. My husband and I got the sampler appetizer which had a nice variety of items all incredibly flavorful. He went the Greek route for his entre with a chicken gyro while I went with the masala sauce w/ chicken at spice level 8. They even gave me a little cup to take the rest of my sauce home. We definitely plan on making this a regular date night restaurant.

Will definitely be back. I’ve been craving a wholesome Indian curry and butter sauce for a while and finally stopped in for pickup. Everything was cooked to my requested spice level (2), the samosas were super fresh and steamy. Everything about my meal was delicious. We’re lucky to have authentic Indian food in Mt.Vernon!

Plus I love the fact that my money is going to a family-owned business. The kids wrote a sign that says “Welcome to Bombay Garden” and it’s the cutest thing ever. I would have taken pics but it was consumed quickly and happily.
