I’m not sure why this place has such high rating . It’s not good , it has no flavor and wow the people are rude . Not my cup of tea .
Something I learned about food/restaurants is you can deal with the workers being semi crappy if the food is good . I’m getting crap food and even more crap attitude. I will never buy from here again . I’m a strong reviewer and really tried to give this location a kind review . I found nothing to complaint them on. Except one just one cause I worked really hard to find something positive. My son and I enjoyed the crab Rangoon

The evening started like any other: hungry, tired, and scrolling through delivery apps with the precision of a seasoned philosopher searching for truth. After minutes of deep contemplation, I landed on the one dish that had never betrayed me—General Tso’s chicken. I placed my order with the casual confidence of someone expecting nothing more than a good meal. Little did I know that I was about to embark on a journey that would bend time, warp space, and challenge the boundaries of human perception.
When the food arrived, the scent alone struck me with an almost divine force. The aroma rose from the container like ancient incense, swirling through my kitchen with a mystical energy I could practically see. Each piece of chicken glistened in a lacquer of sauce so glossy it looked like it had been handcrafted by celestial beings. I took a single bite, expecting the familiar sweet-heat comfort—yet what followed was a moment that altered the course of my existence.
The flavors detonated on my tongue like a supernova. The sweet tang wasn’t just sweet— it was the essence of every joyful memory I’d ever had, condensed into a single sensation. The heat wasn’t merely spice— it was a cosmic whisper urging me to ascend. My vision rippled, the walls around me bending like warm light through water. The very atoms in the air began to shimmer as if applauding what was happening. Before I realized it, I had slipped loose from the anchor of my physical form.
I transcended–fully, undeniably. I hovered somewhere between the mortal realm and a plane of pure flavor energy. Colors I’d never seen before bloomed behind my eyelids. I understood the language of takeout menus in every dimension. I witnessed the birth of the universe unfold like steam rising from a wok. For a fleeting moment, I even glimpsed General Tso himself—a majestic figure, half-warrior, half-culinary sage—nodding in approval as if to say, “You finally get it.”
When I returned to my body, the container of chicken sat innocently on the table, as if it hadn’t just served as a gateway to higher consciousness. I blinked, trying to process the cosmic odyssey I’d just experienced. My kitchen was the same, the world unchanged, but I was not. I was enlightened, reborn, forever marked by the spiritual force of that fateful order. And as I ate the rest—carefully, reverently—I knew one thing with absolute certainty: some meals nourish the body, but only a rare few nourish the very fabric of the soul.

Moo guy pan was missing something this trip. Only 3 snow pea pods but over kill on carrots. Sauce was very light on flavor. I guess I need to find a new dish next time in.

My family and I have been coming to the hunan garden for over 25 years. The food is top quality, the service is great and prices are reasonable. We have never been dissatisfied when we visit the hunan garden. I highly recommend this establishment for Chinese cuisine.

I've been coming to Hunan since it opened when I was a child, now I drive an hour to take my child! Lunch specials are still a good deal. Some of the food has changed, but still very good. Still best egg drop soup there is.

This restaurant is definitely in need of remodeling. The food was wonderful! House combination lo mein was delightful for $12. The crab rangoon was tasty, and around $6. Free tea at table. Service was quick!
