I had been here with friend before and the service was ok. I came back today for take out and the person taking my order had an attitude. I wanted a sushi roll and he mentioned that the Philadelphia roll was popular. I stated in a jokingly way that it’s not my favorite and he rolled his eyes and got a serious attitude. He seemed as though he didn’t want to take the rest of my order and my questions were bothering him. So, I won’t be coming back.

Don’t know his name but he was tossing numb chucks with fire on on the ends and it accidentally let go and the numb chuck with fire on it landed on my plate, i got very scared and jumped out my seat, i’ve never seen anyone use numb chucks but it was funny but also terrifying. My life flashed before my eyes.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Michigan Sushi & Hibachi, and I wanted to share my experience! Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal.The Star of the Show: Steak & Shrimp HibachiI opted for the steak and shrimp hibachi plate, and it was delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly to my liking (be sure to mention your preference when ordering hibachi!), and the shrimp were plump and flavorful. The vegetables were fresh and perfectly seasoned, complementing the protein nicely.

Food has no flavor. No garlic, minimal seasoning. Only good thing was the crazy roll and the soda. Staff was awesome just need to up the seasoning game.

We stopped in for a sushi roll lunch. Some of the interior decor and equipment seems older, but quite a bit of the place seems to have been recently renovated. The sushi rolls were all very good, with everything tasting and looking fresh. We did not have hibachi, but a family who was having hibachi looked and sounded to be enjoying the experience. They also have a full bar, but we did not order drinks with lunch.

Did not expect to find a great sushi place in Mt. V, and the hibachi is also fantastic. A little slow on carry out orders, add 10 minutes to the time they tell you, but I don't want it against them, it's a busy place and very consistently

I am so disappointed. I frequently dine at Ichiban Sushi & Hibachi but I don't know when I will return. I visited weeks ago and there were numerous space heaters through in an attempt to heat the facility. I assumed there was a temporary breakdown of some sort that would be quickly reminded, so I tolerated the cold and enjoyed my meal.Now weeks later I returned yesterday, to the same situation. Employees were all wearing coats along with all of the customers. Children were even warming their hands by the space heaters. No explanations by management, no signs explaining the situation, just expected tolerance to a very cold dining experience.Food great, service good, but I won't be back without calling to confirm the status of their heating situation.
I love this place. It's a local favorite! The food is always delicious and fresh. And , I always experience wonderful customer service.

Honestly like. Paying $23 for my plate really pissed me off. It was so incredibly salty, sauce tastes like it's mostly sugar, service was in our face constantly and atmosphere uncomfortable with 4 tables shoved in a tiny area where we could all hear each other at a whisper with the restaurant completely empty elsewhere. This was so bad and I legit thought about dine and dashing out of justice. Do yourself a favor and go to Bombay gardens next door instead. Incredible Indian and Greek restaurant with warm and friendly owners.

The food and service were great, like the other times we've been there. However, we will probably not be back until they fix their heating. The place was downright freezing, which was unfortunate (especially since we had a newborn with us).They had a couple tiny space heaters, but those didn't do much to help the situation. Our party (and by the looks of it, everyone else inside) kept our coats on the entire time.
