The waitress was so very nice and the young folks who greeted us was so nice. The food the other folks ate looked very good we got a batter mushroom to share oh my were they ever good. But I was Blessed I got mac n cheese n sweet potato fries it was very good. So I had a great lunch with my knight Dave n 2 of the best preachers ever.

Bf and I r trying to decide where to have dinner and I wish Jake's was an option but not after our very first experience...idk if we are all eating at the same place becuz it def doesn't sound like it...we went and I ordered a steak with mushrooms and onions and potatoes...the steak tastes like it was freezer burnt but she said the don't freeze them so I can't explain how the steak got to taste that awful! The mushrooms must've been in a can, opened up and slapped in the microwave and on the plate with onions that were barely cooked...in no way we're they sauteed!! The potatoes were cold and my bf cheeseburger was tasteless, over cooked and the bun was so soggy that it melted to the burger, unlike the cheese! The salad was the only thing worth eating and thank God we got a large one...this was the worst steak I've ever had and worst experience...the manager did not even care and our waitress had no knowledge of anything...every question we asked, she had to leave our table to go find out and come back...this happened about 4)5 times...I was so excited to eat there and when I left, I left more disappointed than I have ever been with a meal! I would give zero stats, but it doesn't let you!

Service was great, food was great, atmosphere was great. Hostess was rude, condescending, untruthful and snotty. Everyone is entitled to a bad day but I'm disappointed that I've witnessed this more than once now.

The lack of enthusiasm in this place is actually impressive. Like they put in effort towards hating their jobs or something. The sad part is that the food was actually pretty good. Jake's has potential but is severely lacking in service at the moment. I hope that it will make a change for the better sooner than later.

Great food! Had the Steakhouse Burger and was excellent as well as the pricing. Definitely worth the stop if your not from the area.
Great service at the bar! The food was really good. I got a free beer! The bar tender was really attentive and to ask patrons.

Overall food was amazing and good bartenders! However I used the wrong card to pay and she said the transaction was cancelled and used another card over a week and still have not received the initial charge back in my account. Deep fried mushrooms are AMAZING!

Okay so I ordered a meal for a friend over the phone. I was on hold for 7 minutes, okay not terrible. The woman who answered was very monotone and just seemed like she didn't care. Again...fine. Not terrible but not great customer service. We walk in to grab our food, it's clearly ready seeing as it's all bagged up in front of us. There are waiters and waitresses walking past just looking at us so we waited another 10 minutes to pay for the food. They weren't terrible but they also weren't great.

Things that were good: Our food was well prepared and our server was attentive. Thing that was strange: I was drinking coffee with my meal and another server who had a tray of drinks as she passed our table set a cup of coffee in a styrofoam cup on our table and said, "Here's more coffee." Things that were bad: The seat cover on my bench had two big tears in it, there was a poorly patched hole in the wall at the end of our table, and the parking lot was filled with deep potholes.
