My friend and I ordered the same items back to back, she got hers right away. I waited 20 minutes. It was chilly inside also. Food was good, veggie quiche and Buckeye latte.

This place undoubtedly has the best parfaits ever. I'd go here for yogurt over the gambier coffee shop any day. People are always nice. Honestly my favorite breakfast place in town. I couldn't ask for anything to be better at this place. One girl in there just seems so happy when you talk to her I wonder what her name is but she is so happy in there. The food is great and the people are too.

Great lunch spot! I just took my 7 year old and she loved the CBR Wrap and Bubble Tea. I had the Hamlini which reminds me of childhood ham and cheese. So good! Great service as well. We're lucky to have this in Mount Vernon!

This place was interestingly busy. But service was good, food was decent, I definitely would give it a second shot

Stopped into North Main Cafe today and got an iced mocha latte, it was really good! Service was super fast, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. They’ve got a great menu with tons of options for coffee, tea, breakfast, and lunch. The dining room is comfortable and inviting, and when the weather’s nice, their outdoor seating area is perfect. Parking is also a big plus even though they’re downtown Mt. Vernon, they’ve got their own lot which makes it really convenient. Definitely a great local spot worth checking out!

I’ve been to this establishment many times and my most recent experience was a far cry from what I’ve come to expect. I was only trying to order a carry out over the phone. I was placed on hold for “1 sec” that turned into over 6 minutes, for an order that took 20 seconds to put in. Rather than actually putting me on hold the phone was just set down on the counter while the barista pounded the espresso press on the counter directly into the earphone. I stopped to pick up the order and found out that prices have been raised, would’ve been nice to know when I put my order in. My order is 10% more expensive than it was 2 weeks ago. Apparently the management decided to switch to local milk & eggs even though they couldn’t afford to do so without passing the costs onto their customers. In a time like this, when so many people are struggling, this decision to raise prices comes off as extremely tone-deaf and lacking values. I won’t be back.

We have been going here for nearly two years. Service has never been great, but today was so awful we will never return. We ordered, took a seat and saw that there was a huge line behind us and the restaurant was already pretty full, we took the last table. We waited patiently, for 50 minutes when we realized people we watched in line significantly after we had taken a seat get their food. We went up to the counter and mentioned it. They said they'd look. No update. 55 minutes, we ask again. No update. At 60 minutes we requested a refund, which they provided without apologizing. We were polite the whole time. They didn't care. Didn't offer a gift card, didn't try to recover the service at all. It was terrible. So, go here if you want to be wait for hour, leave hungry, and be treated like you don't matter.

The staff was very nice. The lattes we ordered were very good. The breakfast food was definitely homemade. I ordered the bacon/egg/cheese biscuit with grits. Husband ordered an omelette with hash browns. We were visiting from Pittsburgh and really liked the vibe. Would go again!

I’m sure it’s great but it was too busy to get service. The wait for food was 35 mins and it was about 45 mins until they closed so we just left. I’m glad he warned us that there was a long wait.
