Worst managed restaurant I’ve ever been to. First, no body even looks at you when you stand at the “wait to be seated” sign. Second, we finally get seated and people seated after us get waited on and we have to request someone to get our drinks. We decided to leave and go to Pizza Hut. This is not the first time this has happened. Another group left prior to our leaving. What’s more important than seating your customers?

Pizza Cottage pizza is the best. Mount Vernon Pizza Cottage has the worst service I’ve ever seen. The really good waitresses are so overworked. They can’t keep up because of staffing issues. The really bad waitresses don’t seem to care and will actually laugh when you talk about how long you’ve been waiting. Drive all the way to Newark eat and come home. It’ll be quicker than going to Mount Vernon.

Never disappointed with my orders from Pizza Cottage! Always delicious, so many great options on the menu to please anyone. Every employee that I talked to were friendly, knowledgeable about the menu. When they say 15 minutes, they mean 15 minutes. The drive thru is a real plus for to go orders. If you haven't, give me hem a call or stop in the dining room for great full service.

I called in my pickup order and ordered a large pep and sausage, a large half and half specialty, and cheesy garlic bread. When I get here the gal that took my order didn’t hear my first pizza order (even though on the phone she said okay anything else after the first pizza order), she had trouble entering the second pizza because of the half and half which is fine but makes me think she must’ve deleted the first pizza, so I get here and she quotes me 10-15 minutes for the pizza, has an attitude about it, and then I wait over 15 mins before asking to check on my pizza and they said they didn’t know about the mixup and the pizza was just now getting in the oven. I asked her if she could go and request to put my pizza at the top of the queue if at all possible and she said okay and walked back and came back after a few minutes but apparently didn’t say anything to anyone. I’m going on almost 30 minutes waiting for my second pizza that was never entered and no update. The food may be good, but the service is definitely not.
Food was pretty good and the waiting staff was great really enjoyed the pizza.

The food was amazing! We aren’t from around here and this was our first stop! Badass service, Badass food, staff were very friendly, wasn’t expensive even with a few mixed drinks and they made the mixed drinks Badass! I would definitely fit this place in places to stop and check out!
