Road Hog Willy's Real Pit Bar-B-Q

We had a wonderful meal today! We have been wanting to try this spot for some time now. Between all of us we had quite a variety of food on the menu and all of it was great! We will be back!

I will start out saying, I am very picky when it comes to smoked BBQ foods as it is a passion of mine to do myself. I had the Rib Sampler with Ribs, pulled chicken and brisket. Brisket was on point, tender and cooked perfectly, the chicken, wow was it done right tender juicy and cooked perfectly, the ribs cooked perfectly as well great bark, tender not quite fall off the bone but came off easily. Well done all around out of a 1 to 5 scale of overall 4.7. Not to mention the friendly staff, checked in on us several times during our meal. A great experience overall with everything. We drove from about a hour away to eat.

My husband, daughter and I decided to stop in since we are big fans of bbq and have never been here before. We were throughly impressed with everything we ordered and our two year old daughter could not get enough of the brisket! I highly recommend trying the cornbread sundae!!! This will now be our go to restaurant when we are in the area!!!

My husband & I decided to check out this BBQ place for dinner. We had high hopes because of all the great reviews, but we were thoroughly disappointed. I think the only reason we ate our food was because of how much we spent. None of the food had flavor, except for the wings I ordered, & even those weren't that impressive. The sauces were decent, but truly good food doesn't need sauce for flavor. The southern style green beans tasted like they opened a can of green beans, heated up to warm, & tossed it in a container. The most flavorful thing in the tray were the buns by themselves. We're easy to please & not the type to complain. But this was definitely one of the most disappointing dining experiences we've ever had.

Brisket juicy and tender and thankfully they left fat on it! Totally worth it. I had the pork my first time here a few weeks ago - as it’s hard to screw that up and I wasn’t sure. It was top notch. I tried the brisket. Excellent. Better than NC where I used to live. The trim away all the fat. I pay for the fat and the meat just happens to come with it.

Stopped by today, and had yet another great experience!

It's exciting to see how the menu options, as well as the interior and exterior layout and decor has changed in the past couple of years.

If you haven't yet tried the BBQ Fries (fries, nacho cheese, pulled pork, sour cream, diced onion, and jalapenos), you need to check them out.

I always top mine with some smokey and sweet BBQ sauce by using both Smokehouse and Blackberry.

Always great bbq! Addition of the full bar and outdoor seating are very nice improvements!! Have used RHW for catering as well….nobody came close on their prices for what was included. Shaun the bartender makes a great Old Fashion?
