Went to subway on Newark Rd. Had to run the ice machine 3 times before the black mold stopped coming out. Gross and their cookies were stale.

To start I need to say I have never been so disgusted and appalled with a restaurant and their employees.
Walked in and checked the mobile order stand — my order wasn’t there. There were multiple people waiting, so I got in line without issue.
Once I got to the counter, I let them know I had a mobile order and gave my name. The employee began making the order but pulled out white bread instead of the Italian herb and cheese I had selected. I’d overheard him mention being out of multiple items for others, so I assumed that was the case.
He started making my sandwich, which looked similar to the BMT I usually order, so I didn’t think much of it after seeing pepperoni go on the sandwich. When he got to the veggie section and started adding lettuce, I asked if my sub was supposed to be toasted. He said no (with a bit of an attitude) but offered to remove the lettuce and toast it. I agreed, then watched him return the lettuce to the container after touching the red deli meat.
He toasted my sandwich and began making my wife’s. He added pepperoni to the 6”, which I didn’t question at first — until I remembered hers was supposed to be the garlic steak sub (which was not ordered with pepperoni). I asked if that’s what he was making. He checked the order slip and said, “Oh, this is the wrong order.”
I told him it was fine, I’d just take what he’d already made for my sub. He set it aside, but another employee pointed out that it was toasted, and the other customer didn’t want theirs toasted, so they should probably just toss it. For my wife’s sub, he removed the meat and cheese from the sandwich and put them back in their containers. He then made the correct sub but didn’t change the bread. At that point, I was too frustrated to say anything.
When he started remaking my footlong, they were out of provolone. He used the remaining ingredients and finished the order.
We got home, not expecting the subs to be fresh out of the oven hot after the drive, but they were completely cold and incredibly messy. I managed to eat half of my sandwich, but when my wife started eating hers, there was a hair in it. I ended up throwing away the rest of my footlong.

Picked up my order at 3:15 and when getting home my sandwich had brown lettuce on it and was toasted when i didnt order toasted. Dont know who made my order but they need to pay more attention to the order and inspect the freshness of the meats and toppings when making subs. Not happy at all.

Went to go get food at 9:13 pm, & even though it says online that they closed at 10, they were already completely shut down!
If I could give 0 stars I would. 3:30. Went in to get 4 subs. Girl working said they close at 4 and couldn't make. Come on! 4 subs. Not heated. Went to subway on Sandusky. Girl was on phone. 3:35. She asked how many subs. Told her 4. She said she couldn't make them because she was only one working. Really? It takes minutes to make a sub. I really hope the manager sees this.
The food was nasty and I asked for a refund. They told me now what restaurant use the same gloves on the meat and the vegetables. What restaurant does that?

Walked in the night before Thanksgiving about 8:45p.m. since the website said they closed at 10. As I was walking in I asked the girl that was working how she was doing and she replied with "well we were gonna close early but I guess not now." She sied heavily and started putting the veggies back on the cold table since she had already completely strippedit. Im sorry you have to stay and do your job but thats what your job is since you chose not to have any life aspirations. You open when your supposed to be open and you close when your supposed to close thats why there are hours posted. Dont be rude and give an attitude to my girl friend and I after I just worked a 14hr day and just wanted a sub that only takes two minutes to assemble. Im new to Mount Vernon but this is the first and last time I'll visit this establishment due to disrespectfully rude behavior from the girl behind the counter.

Worst service we have ever received from a subway. They basically have children running the dinner shift. Kids are throwing food at each other, gossiping and carrying on. So unprofessional and when it came to food it was a slopping mess. I placed a mobile order. The two meatball subs one footling didn't have meatballs on one side and the meatballs and sauce were cold. The other subs we ordered they were missing alot of the stuff we ordered and the produce was rotted and bitter tasting. Couldn't even eat our dinner. When we opened the bag the subs weren't wrapped and were falling out of their wrappers. Worst customer service we have ever received. Won't be going back. Not to mention another customer walked in the restaurant too the girl working there she will start to take an order and just walk off! Did the same to us.

Sub was great. Prices are ridiculous. Same sub you pay $13 today used to be $5, without the names, the monster, the outlaw ect.
The products used were actually of very good quality. The Prep. Station was clean and well stocked, and fresh gloves were doned in my presence. I was impressed with what my overall experience was, as compared to my preset notions. Never judge a book by its cover. Great job. Great Sub. Well done Subway.
