For a restaurant at a truck stop, is very good food and customer friendliness. Always busy at breakfast on Sunday mornings. Staff very friendly and attentive to customer needs. And veterans get a discount on their meals. Not alot of seating available and entrance should be constructed better to keep cold winds from entering. If this place had more seating, I could picture it always being full! Great food and great service every time we are here!

I used to go there every morning for breakfast when I lived in town. Now that I'm back to trucking it's been a minute since I was there. Coming from Chicago to Cleveland I passed a dozen places this morning I could have stopped for breakfast. I was craving one of their breakfast burritos, made fresh with just eggs and potatoes, no meat. I was told they couldn't make me a fresh burrito I had to get one of the pre-made ones with sausage or bacon. There's a freaking griddle 5 ft away and the diner is open. I sat at the counter and ordered a breakfast sandwich to go. When I got back to my truck and opened it up the bun was burned inside and outside. Like they toasted the bun on the griddle and had to flip it over so they could burn both sides. The egg was burned brown as well. Luckily I like my bacon crispy but for most people it would have been ruined also. The sandwich wasn't fit for dog food. Cook must really hate his job and his customers to serve such garbage. Better put them back to washing dishes although they probably wouldn't do that right either.

If you ever find yourself driving through Napoleon, OH do yourself a favor and stop and eat here. Leota makes you feel at home and like you are a regular from the first second you step foot inside. Despite not having a ham button the food is made to order and is amazingly delicious. I will stop in here anytime I'm near the area. Its that good.

We stopped in at American Road Diner in Napoleon, Ohio, and it did not disappoint! It has that classic 1960s diner look — cozy booths, bright décor, and a fun nostalgic feel.

I had the pancakes and eggs, and the pancakes were phenomenal while the eggs were cooked perfectly. My husband had an omelette with veggies that were just right, plus homestyle potatoes and toast. Everything was hot, fresh, and full of flavor.

Our waitress, Amiee, made the experience even better with her great personality and friendly conversation. The service was quick, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere made it a place we’ll definitely visit again. Even though it’s at a truck stop, we’d highly recommend stopping in!

This place is very cool for a sit down diner at a truck stop, the atmosphere where the locals are sitting and talking to each other cross tables just gives it a homely feeling. The food was amazing. I had breakfast which was ultimate omelette and hashbrowns and I covered with chili and cheese. Look at the picture. It was simply amazing and the price was good. The lady working behind the counter was super friendly just an awesome place.

The worst meal I've been served in a very long time. Ordered steak and eggs. Medium and scrambled. Was served well done, not seasoned at all, and minced runny scrambled whatever they served me. Would NOT recommend eating at this establishment.

We waited for 50 minutes before they realized our ticket for our order had fallen down and they hadn't even started it yet. When our food did come out, it's pretty much what you'd expect from a gas station diner. Biscuits and gravy both from cans, hamburger patties with no flavor and gummy hash browns. The onion rings and eggs were good, but that's about it.
