While driving to Fort Wayne, Indiana, I noticed a sign on the highway for the “DAILY GRILL INDIAN RESTAURANT Punjabi Dhaba.” The word “Dhaba” caught my eye, so I googled it and decided to give it a try. I made a U-turn and headed to the restaurant, which is run by Billu Bhaji and Pardeep Bhaji.

Truly authentic Punjabi food! Good number of vegetarian options. They do NOT serve rice with sabji or daal (just like in India) so you may want to order it separately. The restaurant is almost entirely run by a Sikh gentleman who takes orders and cooks. The food is worth the wait! You can ask for mild, medium or hot spice levels. They put a good amount of mustard oil and kasoori methi, so if you want mild spice levels, you'll have to ask.
