Went tonight (Friday) during dinner. This place was a huge let down. We had the rack of lamb and arancini. Arancini was “eh” and the lamb was such a tiny portion and incredibly bland. The “potato mousse” that came with the lamb was more of a paste with a hint of lemon(?). The $20 Old Fashioned wasn’t anything special like the price suggests - probably worth closer to $14. The place has a cozy vibe and is pretty, but that doesn’t make up for the overpriced food and WAY overpriced drinks. Won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend it

This place will make you feel like you are in New York City with the ambience it displays. The food and service was also excellent and I would definitely recommend this place!

We stopped in one weekend evening for a cocktail and also an appetizer,we were amazed by the wonderful design and deco, great friendy staff, nice drink, and interesting menu. Our appetizer was good yet on the smaller size.
Definitely plan to return for dinner when in the area

Amazing experience at 24 Kitchen and Bar!

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was perfect – modern yet cozy, with a great atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every need was met. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious options, and the food exceeded all expectations. I tried the filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection, and the cocktails were expertly crafted.

Whether you're looking for a casual night out or a special occasion, 24 Kitchen and Bar is a must-visit in New Albany. Highly recommend!

I’ve already left this review, but it was somehow deleted. Extremely disappointed for what we were expecting in this area and location!

This place is a great little secret in New Albanynwith new leadership in place to deliver a much elevated cocktail experience.

We did not partake in any food elements only cocktails on our visit, but it was absolutely a stellar drink with the refined menu under the new management .

My understanding is that some of the service that was provided previously has been corrected with this change and so if you’ve experienced service that was not aligned to your expectations, I would highly encourage you to try this place again .

The old house that it’s located in is absolutely charming. Please do not forget to experience the rooftop opportunity for seating as well as the private room behind the bookcase for cozy entertainment in small groups.

The cocktail menu has a lot of great options in terms of someone with a very refined pallet, but it’s also filled with easy to drink cocktails for those who are less experienced in ordering masterfully curated cocktails from a mixologist.

I found the place filled with some regular locals, as well as a lot of new clients trying this resident business and all treated well at both the bar and their tables.

The locals were extremely friendly and welcoming to new clients experiencing for the first time and also shared recommendations for their favorite cocktails .

All in all our party was extremely satisfied with our experience, our bartender, and the overall location as well as the ambience that this place provided .

The service and ambiance were spectacular. The drinks were some of the best drinks Ive ever had. We sat at the bar for HH. Which really isn't happy hour since you're still paying $15 or more for a cocktail. However, the food was soooooo tasteless.

Bread and compound butter - bread tasted stale and you get three pieces for $11

Shishito peppers - cooked to perfection but absolutely no taste whatsoever

Truffle popcorn - for $6 for a small bowl I expected the popcorn to be freshly popped. It was not. It was most definitely stale as hell and appeared to be made days prior. This suspicion was confirmed as the chef was out in the bar area and had just arrived.

Pave frites - beautiful presentation. Once again, absolutely no taste and the cook was uneven.

Sliders - bread was stale and the whole thing was dry. It needed some sort of condiment.

Lobster rolls - dry as hell. The bread was stale and it's like they warmed the lobster meat up but there was no butter or mayo on it. It definitely needs butter or an aioli or something. Pro tip, we used the aioli from the pave frites to help resuscitate our lobster rolls.

The staff and atmosphere were great. We had a lovely evening on the patio then spent some time around the fire pit. The bar was also a fun end to the evening. I will definitely be back.

I don’t like to give poor reviews but this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have had. The restaurant is beautiful however seating is incredibly tight so you are on top of the tables next to you and can hear their every word. We had a server who was extremely loud and oddly arrogant and unaccommodating. The menu options are hodge podge and the food is prepared with massive amounts of salt and butter. Way overpriced. We left wishing that we went somewhere else instead because there are so many better options locally.

The portion sizes are very small and not much on the menu for the health conscious, non-drinker. They don’t even have iced tea…this is Ohio…try to at least have SOME Ohio identity. Wife and I don’t usually review places but this experience was just so poor for the money that I felt I had to share so others don’t have the same. You sit in top of the table next to you and can hear their every word. Food came out very slow. Server was very loud and full of himself. One of the oddest and least comfortable dining experiences I’ve ever had.

First time at this place and what a dining experience. We had a couple of cocktails each and they were superb. We had the lamb albondigas which were fabulous and the sauce is a bit spicy and very delicious. We had the scallop ceviche which came with trout roe which were smoked and topped with purple micro greens - just outstanding! We had the chocolate mousse for a little sweetness and it was so rich with tiny edible flowers on top. The presentation of everything was so well done. Definitely going back!

Best part was the ambiance and space

The menu is a bit disjointed- think small plates. NO entrees.

We ordered the pave frites, sliders, arancini & pork belly

The best of the selection was the beef sliders. I requested ketchup & was disappointed there was NONE in the building and was offered hot sauce instead.

The mix of short rib and brisket made for a juicy slider but needed a sauce to close the deal.

Towards the end of our visit there was live music which was nice but a bit loud …

Beautiful space .. but menu seemed like an Afterthought.

Perfect. Had such fun here - great food atmosphere and music. Perfect place if you want to meet up with some friends and just relax and dress pretty! Always!!! Still confused though about the movie on the screen behind us; so someday, someone must enlighten me on that!!! Excellent service too. Close to home!

First timer review. The food was average and way over priced. Our server put us in the corner of the bar area and literally forgot about us the entire meal we had to flag down another server to get my wife’s drink. Love our New Albany restaurant scene, this is lowest on the list
