Bob Evans Restaurant

This is by far the worst side dish. Bob Evans ever made. It had black things and it was very lumpy as I say forgot to mix it. I had this years ago and it was pretty good. I wanted to make sure that it wasn't bugs or anything. I'm glad I took the pictures. So other people can see what I've seen.

Whoever changed the chicken strips should be fired! The new ones are terrible!🤮

I want to know why your company makes managers work 6-7 days in a row 10 hour shifts??? Is that how you show your thanks to your employees? You are slowly killing your employees and your business. Highly DISAPPOINTED and it’s truly disheartening a huge chain like this can’t even give their employees more than one day off a week. Maybe if you treated your employees better and allowed them the time to rest (that is NECESSARY) and take care of themselves they would perform better at their job. These are not robots, these are real people!

Bob Evans use to be my favorite breakfast restaurant. Not any more,I go in and they inform me they don’t carry jalapeños anymore so I proceeded to order and now I am informed that they just quit carrying franks red 🥵 hot. I put that stuff on everything then it’s time for choice of bread,guess what no bagels and cream cheese. The franks red hot was the straw that broke the camel’s back. It’s like they are not even trying. Sheets is actually better.

We ordered the hot home meals package and picked it up on Thanksgiving day. I want to commend Managers, Jonathan and Joey at the Dupont Rd., Fort Wayne, IN store. Although the restaurant was packed with customers, and also with people picking up carry out meals, the food we picked up was exactly as ordered and everything was hot. We all enjoyed an excellent meal at home and everything was exactly as ordered and tasted very good. Would highly recommend this restaurant anytime in the future to anyone who wants takeout or to eat in. Excellent value and service for the money.

Ordered chili asked for no onions, it is in the chili when made but instead of telling me they just gave it to me...carry out...also got a piece of pie which was under sized, done going there

I bought the 30 pack of sausage patties at the grand opening of Gordan Food service in Jacksonville Fl. I was so excited because I’m from OHIO and I thought I was getting the sausage that I had longed for. But to my disappointment there was more fat content than I had been used to coming from Bob Evans!

Totally ridiculous, you can’t order with a gift card online. Then you have to go to the store to order.. then they don’t honor coupon codes in the store that you had online. Just not happy in a world of high prices for food.

Took my 93 year old mother to the New Stanton, PA restaurant. It was freezing cold in there. When we left it was 64° outside, and it still felt warmer than inside. You shouldn't be have to wear a jacket or a sweatshirt to stay warm in a restaurant. It wasn't just a one time thing, because during the summer it is always cold in there. On top of that, your food quality and variety of food offerings has gone way down. Bob Evans used to have quality food that you could count on. Now, at best, it's no more than just average. We waited quite awhile to even get our meal once it was ordered. My mother didn't like her food and only took a couple of bites. There used to always be a manager strolling around to check on the customers. We didn't even get one when we told the waitress my mother didn't like the taste of the food. It's a shame that the quality of food, customer service, and variety of menu has gone way down from what it use to be. I've read other reviews from customers at different locations and it sounds like many of the same complaints. Well, we won't be back. Also, there's nothing in the menu that would even begin to entice me to return in spite of the cold temperatures. It's a shame. It use to be a good, reliable place to eat.

We were on a daytrip and stopped at the Mansfied restaurant.
There were 3 to 4 tables occupied.
We were greeted and seated by a young man with a beard.
After 8 minutes we still hadn't been greeted by a server.
She walked by 4 times. Never even acknowledged us. A friendly I'll be there in a second....would have been nice.
In the meanwhile 2 other guest were seated.
She went to the last ones seated, greeted them and began taking their orders.....
We were tired from a full day of driving and siteseeing....
Went to front counter. I said maybe your waitstaff should be trained to wait on first seared first served.
We went down the hill to Burger King.
I do not know if she was alone?
If she was new?
But, the reason doesn't matter....

Bob Evans use to be my family meal go to place for breakfast lunch and diner. Now I rarely visit because the entire brand dynamics are missing the mark. The menu selections I liked are no longer available or the recipe has changed for the worse. Many of the servers lack the polish and customer care etiquette I was accustomed to. Many of the servers are too preoccupied with foolishness and distracted by smartphones and neglect the patrons. I see servers running thier fingers through thier hair and wiping thier face with barehanded only to pick up my dish and place it in front of me. The portions are less and less.

Went Saturday evening after a funeral we sang at. Wasn't busy, service was good, food coming out was slow. When food arrived server passed out two plates, third plate and rolls fell off servers tray and onto the floor was a mess. The server was upset, it happens, tried to make light of situation and said I could do the 5 second rule. Don't think she got it. The server did say sorry and we would not be charged, after awhile did get the food and roles, the others were almost finished when I got my plate, it was a while. Went to register nothing was taken off even mention it, staff person said oh I heard. I just felt something would of been nice as the server said there would be no charge. I dint want to make a stink, wife wanted to as she thought since the server said , will be taken care of and it wasn't. After the horr Thanksgiving day debacle I'm just done with Bob Evans and their lies. Didn't get what we ordered at all Thanksgiving, you take this you have no choices eventhough we pre-ordered. Worst staff that day, rude unapologetic. You get what we give you attitude! Sad you once were a wonderful, nice, caring restaurant. That's by the wayside like so many others!Mr. Bay

I recently ordered door dash delivery in Van Wert. The food was awful. I called to talked to the night manager and told her so, plus, I didn't get the banana nut bread I ordered. Instead, the sent pumpkin bread that was outdated. The menu food looks wonderful but there is no one there to prepare it properly, or even make a complaint to. The manager hung up ubruptly after she got my address to mail a gift card. Now either your not paying your employees enough for them to care, or Bob Evans is not as advertised.Michelle Klutka

Bob Evans won't be in business with a year or two. No one working! 1 woman in Eaton Ohio running the whole place (except for 1 cook) by herself. This is a huge wrong choice by management. Other restaurants parking lots are full while BE is got getting overflow. Hire some people!!! Quality of food, service are both way down. Hire some people!
