I ordered chili and banana pudding to go. The chili was really good and chunky, as well as the banana pudding, until I found a gnat in it. At first, it looked like the black tip of a banana, but after further inspection, it was an actual gnat. You can tell how dirty a restaurant is by what you find in the food.
With that being said, im sure theres a bunch of trash or something laying around in the kitchen and isnt cleaned thoroughly daily.
What a waste of a pint of banana pudding...I hope they clean up or keep the pudding covered and refrigerated at all times.
Will not be returning to this location.

It's always easy to tell when a restaurant gets a new cook or anything. Granted, it's been a while since I've been there, and this time around, it was the Collard Greens. Even my friend said they were too damn salty, so salty, she couldn't finish her portion. That said, we pitched the Collard Greens and just the Mac & Cheese.
If we had been in the restaurant, we would've returned the greens for a new batch.
I only eat City BBQ maybe twice a year, so I'm not worried about it. Hopefully it's better next time.
