Mellow Mushroom New Albany

This is my new favorite place. My family and I have been in three times and every time we have has the same server, Jamie. I hope that's how you spell her name. She's a phenomenal waitress. Always on top of things, very friendly and accommodating. The pizza is delicious and there's never a long wait.

Mellow mushroom has the right vibe of you want to have a good time with family or kids, they have a great salad to share and the option for food restrictions are good too. Ingredients are quite good for a pizza joint

We dropped in for drinks the other night and spent a longer time here than expected because of how fun it was.

The pizza is always good. The artichoke dip is so good don't ever take it away. I like how you can do half an half so you can try different flavors. Nice atmosphere. Never to loud even when it's busy. The wings are flavorful, The drinks... only negative is the alcohol is a hit or miss, the glasses be to small sometimes like just bring me a tall normal glass an stop playing lol

We arrived at about 715 pm. It took over 75 minutes to get food. Understaffed. Forgot wine. No itemization for bill. No water during meal- waiter too busy. He may have tried-but I don’t know what happened cause there weren’t many people eating.

Ordering and service was phenomenal, very attentive and checked often enough that we weren't left waiting to ask for things but not so often that it became annoying. Great atmosphere and it's also kind of neat to be able to see the chefs making the pizza.

Stopped in for lunch. Meatballs and pizza were amazing. Smashburger is a definite must-try too. Our bartender/server was great! He was funny and personable while being a great server. We have been here several times and will continue that. Definitely recommend!

2.5. Food is very good but the service is lacking. Went last night with some friends and my husband placed a to-go order while we were there, thinking I would grab it on the way out. Estimated pick up time was 6:43. Wasn’t ready until almost 7:30!! I had to wait around for that long. Barely an apology from the hostess. Should have just cancelled the order but my kids were looking forward to their pizza order. Will not be coming back here.
