Pretty loud guests. I felt like I should move to some people's tables since I was a part of their conversations. It was like a competition on who could talk louder by a few. Great, prompt service. Employees were extremely nice and accommodating. Fairly clean restrooms. Limited parking.

I just want it on record: this is the best Starbucks in Columbus as far as good drinks go. I wish this location could train the other locations so we didn’t have to drive 20 mins to get a quality macchiato or iced matcha 🍵 🤣🥲

My mom could not speak that much english and even though her english was understandable the people got the order wrong and one of the workers I was looking if my drink was there and she grabbed it and said no this is not yours when the only thing I was doing was looking bc my drink did not have a name 🙃
The fastest order yet! And made delicious!
Wonderful place to go.
I wish the atmosphere could be an even higher rating. Probably the best Starbucks I have ever been to. The seating is comfortable, the aesthetic is gorgeous, and the ladies behind the bar were so kind and welcoming. I have never been to a coffee shop like this. There is also an order status bar which makes it nice to see where they are at with the orders. Wish I lived closer so I could always come here.
I used to go to this starbucks daily. It is so disappointing to me that the most convenient starbucks to me is the one that makes my favorite drink the worst. I always get chai tea lattes and at most starbucks it is spicey and hot and like a hug in a cup. Here they are watery...or milky or warm not hot. It never matters...no matter how I order it or attempt to recreate what every other starbucks does. I've tried no water, light water, extra hot, different milks, extra pumps of chai ...I have tried to fix it myself but after over a year or more I just don't know what to do. I believe there needs to be feedback and ideally more training for the entire team. Try it others, do a taste test please. I am giving in now because if it were me making them thinking they were good or like all other starbucks' but in reality they make them the worst, I would want to know.
The baristas that work here are extremely kind!
Great place...great customer service

The service at this cafe is consistently excellent. The staff often go above and beyond, like bringing my order to the table when I have my toddler with me, which I truly appreciate. However, the cleanliness of the space is a major concern. The floors are frequently littered with food, and the restrooms were shockingly dirty during my visit. This raises serious questions about hygiene, especially if staff are preparing food after using these facilities. While the service is great, the lack of cleanliness is unacceptable and needs urgent attention
20+ minutes to get 2 coffees with no line…

Monday morning @10:15 a.m. I ventured in to order a cafe latte. I stood for a few minutes, at the end where orders used to be taken. No one told me where to order, but I realized they’d switched the order place to the other end, so I moved down. At the order counter, no one was in line before or behind me. A woman was behind the counter but seemed unable to take an order. I reached this conclusion quickly because, after briefly looking in my direction, she turned away and began doing something else, with her back turned. I stood for @4 more min waiting and then asked her if I was in the right place to order. She apologized and took my order. I waited. I went to the bathroom and discovered the bathroom door now has a code lock on it. A nice patron told me the code. I went back to the receiving end of the store and waited. And waited. And waited. A man (also waiting) explained the “Board,” an expensive way they’ve come up with to perhaps explain their slowness and keep people from asking about their orders. The “Board” has three columns: “received,” “processing,” and “completed.” 15 minutes into this experience, with literally only one man waiting beside me, I was still in the “received” column. I waited a couple minutes longer and then decided I didn’t need a $7 cup of coffee this badly. I asked for a refund. Not one person explained the delay until I asked for a refund. Apparently all three employees on duty were engrossed in filling a “to go” order and could not be bothered with filling the two simple orders of the two people standing before them.
First, hire more people, it’s the holidays. (No, just hire more people permanently.) Second, train your staff to understand customer service and be more aware of their surroundings.
Bottom line, separate and conquer the tasks at hand. Designate who works “to go” and who works the counter, and always take care of the people standing right in front of you. Oh, and maybe mention the fact that the bathroom door has a code so that no one is blind sided. It’s the polite thing to do.
Given the chaotic atmosphere, I really think there’s plenty of room in New Albany for a cozy, efficiently managed coffee shop, where doors aren’t locked.
Happy Holidays
(P.S. I will be making my own wonderful coffee at home, for a fraction of the cost and none of the hassle! - Seriously, add it up. In 2-3 months you could purchase one heck of a machine for your home. Just think, no waiting!💕)
