I don’t know how good the food was because waited and waited to be seated. Table was sticky, asked for it to be wipe off. Never happened. Waited and waited for somebody, anybody to come to our table. Never happened. So we left. Will never go back.

The Goat in New Albany is a great spot. Upscale ambiance, delicious food, good drinks and cool staff. The location is great. It is walking distance to a handful of other shops and stores in New Albany. They have a big patio that is well furnished and spacious. I really like the architecture and overall space that this restaurant encapsulates. It has a great feel that is very impressive without being too pretentious. Its a great spot to bring people if you want to make a great first impression. Great place for dates, groups or riding solo.

I like to go here for brunch. Bloody Mary's and breakfast tacos are my go to combination. Outstanding quality.

Had a great experience at The Goat in New Albany today. Aja was my server, and she was so great friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was right without hovering. I ordered the All American Burger, and it did not disappoint. Juicy, cooked perfectly, and packed with flavor, plus the toppings were fresh and balanced and the sweet potato fries were to die for. The atmosphere was relaxed but lively, and Aja’s great service made it even better I think she was new because I hadn’t seen her before but it looked like she caught on really quick. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.

If you ever have the pleasure of being served by Jillian, consider your day made. Hands down, the best server I’ve ever had — anywhere. Her energy, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made the whole experience unforgettable.

I was on the fence between the Carnivore Breakfast and the Nashville Hot Benny, and Jillian didn’t just recommend the latter — she championed it. And she was 100% right. That Benny was next-level, and I never would’ve tried it without her confident nudge.

Beyond the food, it’s Jillian’s presence that stands out. She somehow manages to be calm, kind, funny, and incredibly efficient all at once. She read the vibe at the table perfectly, checked in at just the right moments, and made me feel like a regular — even though it was my first time there.

Jillian isn’t just a great server. She’s the kind of person who makes your day better just by being in it. If there’s a gold standard in hospitality, she sets it.

And if you really want to make her day? Buy her some tacos. She’s hungry.
