Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

Ordered Lees Catering for my daughter’s wedding and the first negative about the online ordering/catering is they use a delivery service so about a week before the wedding we wanted to change the time to have it delivered about an hour later than we had scheduled but was told we would have to cancel the whole $1100 order to move the time so we bought warmers and left the time the same then about an hour before the food was supposed to be there we get a notification that the order was cancelled, a wedding venue full of people and told food will not be delivered had to call in the middle of my daughters wedding to get it fixed then food comes and we were missing a whole gallon side of macaroni. Instead of the individual 25 piece chicken strips we ordered they put hundreds in a huge cardboard box the chicken was so greasy and soggy from being stacked in a box. Was very disappointing to say the least. Will never order the catering from them or the olo delivery they use and a very accommodating tip was left with the order. Not the service a mother of the bride wants to have to deal with on her daughters wedding day. Order number 35207665121705985 May 2025

Lee's is the best fast food chicken in Ohio. There is literally no better fast food restaurant than the Lee's in Nee Carlisle. Period. End of story. The food is always excellent. The customer service is top notch. If my wife and I are within 20 minutes of this one, we will go every time. They will make anything on the menu fresh, every time. I'm been going here for years.

I do not like the change in the food. The green beans are hard, the potato wedges have changed the coating and it is hard, the mashed potatoes and gravy, have a different gravy now not the brown gravy, but a chicken gravy and I don’t like it. Will probably stop eating here.

The Lee's in New Carlisle is my favorite Lee's. The food is always so tasty. And the staff, especially Kerri, is so friendly and helpful. It feels like home there. I always get the 2 piece leg & thigh meal. The chicken is cooked perfectly and the biscuits are so yummy. I even asked how they get them so perfect. I'll keep going back for my Sunday meal after church. ❣❣❣🍗😋

Every time I come here now this place is out of biscuits and gives you nasty dinner rolls without telling you. Give me the meal I paid for.

I can not express enough how grateful I am for the crew and manager wrkn at the New Carlisle store on the 25th of June! These guys were just great! I had ordered catering (a lot of food at that!) And these guys were on top of it. They were kind, reassuring and the one gentleman even carried and loaded it in my car for me! They didn't leave out a thing! We had condiments napkins silver ware cups and all! Thank you all so much! My daughter's graduation party was perfect and you fed us all! Definitely recommend❤️

Drove 20 minutes from Troy to get chicken tender meal and livers. Got home and order incorrect dark meat meal. Ate the livers biscuit and potatoes. Tried to call and they never answer. None of the meat was eaten and I most likely paid for the more expensive meal. I can’t even check receipt as ink didn’t print what I ordered. Very disappointed and still hungry and Don like dark meat! I don’t understand why they gave me two dips I wanted for the tenders and gave me chicken. Real screw up. We’re not even busy!

Fresh food, nothing wrong w order, tastes just like I remember it being when I was younger, highly recommend over any other fried chicken joint!

Fast friendly service, and the best chicken dinner and fish sandwich around. The Chicken Livers are phenomenal with a little gravy!

I tried to get on the website for customer feedback. It says to allow time for the “form” to load. 10 plus minutes later still nothing loaded. It’s like they don’t want to hear the feedback. My pops was on the way home last night stopped to get me a pot pie cause I am feeling under the weather. When he went to order the pot pie the workers told him that they were “too busy” to make one. For someone who has worked in the food industry for a little under 10 years after hearing that I was flabbergasted. How can you have something on the menu then when someone orders said item you just say “we are too busy to make that.” Is that what they are told to do when they don’t feel like doing their job? Just say “I’m too busy” to do my actual job. I get places get busy. I truly do, especially had been working in food for so long myself, but to refuse to make an order for an item you offer on your menu is ridiculous.
