Great food, service was good.

My review is not to anger or flusterate locals that cherish local business. My experience is not good. They did not care about customer service or waiting on anybody. Had to leave with no food or anything. They do not care about waiting on people. I do not recommend giving it a chance or anything. We'll never visit again.

It's a local mom and pop diner and it looks like it. The food is really good. Love the reuben for lunch and the ultimate omelet for breakfast. The waitresses are nice and the overall atmosphere is upbeat. I recently moved to New Lebanon and I eat at Dixie a lot.

Cheeseburgers were delicious, ham & cheese omelet was good sized and tasty, pancakes were large but just okay.

There’s something nostalgic about finding a place that feels like home—where the food, the atmosphere, and even the people remind you of growing up. It’s more than just a meal; it’s a connection to the past, a reminder of simpler times, and a comforting taste of familiarity in the middle of new adventures. Those moments make exploring so much more meaningful, turning a simple stop into a cherished memory

What a nice place. The food is real. The atmosphere was so wonderful. I for sure will go back and tell everyone I see if they've ever stopped there it's so worth it. Can't wait to go back for a daily special

Let me just start off by saying I grew up going to this diner, It’s so sad to see how this place has depreciated over the years, I wanted biscuits and gravy but I was told they stopped serving breakfast after 11am well I was the only person in the place and they couldn’t make that happen so that was understandable I guess, they lovely waitress convinced me to get the lunch special (fried chicken, green beans, and mashed potatoes with gravy) I SWEAR the “fried chicken” was from the local grocery store that was premade! Its was very under temperature and I was very concerned I would get sick if I ate it so I passed on it. I ate everything else and it was okay. But I decided to leave shortly after due to my appetite being stolen by the very under temperature chicken. My entire family has stopped going and I wondered why… guess I know now. I hope they can save it before it’s too late because it’s a piece of the towns history

I have been here several times. Staff is nice. food is good to fair. Breakfast, burgers, daily specials. desserts. and ice cream are a good choice. It is older and could probably use a few updates but If that doesn’t bother you its a good choice
