Probably the best steak I've ever had in my life. Great service and lovely atmosphere. I'd give TJs a 5 out of 5 stars. Better than the Roadhouse or Grill #9 (Cambridge City)

Today was our first visit and already planning to come back next weekend. The food was amazing, definitely one of the best filets I have ever had and well worth the price. The cherry cheesecake was fantastic and the service was great as well.

We were greeted warmly upon entering. The server seemed new and was still figuring things out but very friendly and attentive. The bartender was on their first day and selection was limited, but when the food arrived it was of excellent quality and cooked to perfection with generous portions. The owner TJ talked to us and explained how most of the meat is Choice cut and sourced locally. We definitely plan to go back.

Took my father here for his birthday lunch. Is a place he had heard was pretty good and had good reviews. The atmosphere isn't bad at all. But the food was not worth the money. (Also Note: If your establishment has Steak House in the name, you should serve steak in the afternoon, not just the evening).

The cheese fries were okay-ish but wasn't anything special and pretty bland. The fries are definitely just some frozen brand. Both of us got the Cheddar Cheese Burger and it was alright for me - not worth $15.00 or whatever it was. My father was not impressed though. Only things we liked was the music and the bathroom was clean. This isn't somewhere we plan on going back to.

For being a place that just opened about three weeks ago, everything I’ve had so far has been good. I wouldn’t change a thing. I know they are trying out different things on the menu. Try to figure out what is right for them. I wish them the best of luck, and if you do go there, get the steak. It is delicious, but if you’re not in the mood for a steak, the Reuben is good, and if you go at lunchtime, the pizza burger is good. disregard all the reviews that are from the past couple years because this place only opened three weeks ago.

Wont order the lunchmeat beef manhatten ever again . Rubbery roast beef barely any gravy on or taters.Green beans had no flavor.

Stopped for lunch while traveling through town, great food and great service. Very nice restaurant inside as well. We had the smoked pulled pork, chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and gravy, and smoked baked beans. We'd definitely come back if we lived here.

I have traveled a lot for my jobs over the previous 40 years. I have had fish sandwiches all across the US. The fish sandwich I had at The Lampost was the best I have had anywhere! Ever!
Very nice, large piece of white fish, hand dipped in batter and perfectly fried. Generous amount of tater sauce. A perfectly done fish sandwich and tasted incredible. And we had the absolute sweetest waitress. So friendly and attentive. She made the meal even better.

Everyplace in Richmond was slammed on Veterans Day so we decided to make the quick little trip to New Paris and let me tell you everyone in Richmond made the wrong choice. My wife ordered sirloin and I ordered fried chicken and they both was perfect. All the way down to the salad I had zero complaints. More people need to check this spot out so they can turn the Heat up. It was cold in the there and that's the only negative I have.
