If wasn't a bad experience at all, and I know they get busy sometimes so I'm not really complaining, but I just need something to drink, constantly almost while I eat, and I think the lady only came around like twice, maybe 3 times including when she brought the check. The food was pretty good tho and my company was even better, so it worked out good all in all.

It's way better to go in the morning, when they first open, the food is fresh and less chaos.

Went there today for lunch food was horrible the coconut shrimp was was over cooked the pork chops where all fat no meat service was horrible waited almost 25 minutes to get a drink refill the restroom was filthy just not what I expected I will drive farther north next time

Absolutely Disgusting Experience – Do Not Recommend

I usually don’t leave reviews, but my experience at Empire Buffet was so bad I had to speak up. The food was downright disgusting. The peanut chicken was burnt to a crisp and completely inedible, and the pork chops were loaded with fat—barely any actual meat. Most of the buffet items were either overcooked, dried out, or had clearly been sitting under heat lamps way too long.

To make it worse, the server was extremely lazy and inattentive. It took almost 30 minutes just to get drink refills, and we had to flag someone down more than once. Dirty plates piled up on our table for ages without anyone coming to clear them.

The place was also not very clean—sticky floors, unclean tables, and the food stations looked messy and poorly maintained. For the price they charge, I expected way better.

Skip this place. There are plenty of other buffets out there that actually care about quality and service. Empire Buffet is not worth your time or money.

Amazing variety and excellent food. I drive 40 minutes to get the best Hong King chicken in the country. The pizza is a sweet surprise as well.

Seated quickly. Place is clean, food excellent.
Negative is the management. They really are harsh with employees.
Can tell employees are not comfortable.
Other thing both the manager and those waiting tables ( bringing drinks, clearing tables. ) They tend to circle tables way too much. Watch customers like a hawk. Try to rush you out when you are closer to dessert.

I understand they want to quickly clear area for new customers. But we pay for the table and we are still eating.

I only go there 1 or 2 xs a year for the negative reasons mentioned.
