This place is overwhelmed and only staffing a couple people. I just spent $20 for a banana because you’re on a turnpike that means expediency outranks order! Fill the simple ones as they come in and you work on the larger orders! It’s called fast food for a reason! I hope you enjoy throwing away a bowl of soup!

Lady with scars on her face absolutely rude I asked nicely for my order which is I been waiting more than 15 minutes so she said other people order soup or just sandwich that’s why their food is come first and 2 more minutes later she said here is your order here come get it.

This Panera is inside the roadside rest area so atmosphere is what you make of it. However the food and staff were wonderful. The cheesesteak on tomato basil bread was moist and tender. The garlic aoli just made the sandwich so much better.

Panera Bread at 1st service plaza heading west into Ohio. If you don’t use their stupid kiosk to order nobody comes to wait on you. Then my wife wanted Mediterranean salad w/o chicken. Showed the same price though menu says it’s $6.00 less. I couldn’t figure out how to change it so I asked about the chicken and the snarky worker guy said I should have looked for the salad w/o the chicken on the menu. I told him I felt I was being scammed and he just smiled and walked away. I’ve never been treated this way before at Panera Bread and I’m considering not going to another one.
