Loved Baba’s Grill. Went for the first time and we will definitely be back! We got Philly sandwiches, chicken strips, and fried pickles. All were delicious! The Phillies were amazing! The baba sauce was really good. I got it on the side to try it and it was very good! Fries were hot and good too! Atmosphere was really unique and cute. Bathrooms were very clean. Nice area to walk around right outside of restaurant. Cute little shops and a bookstore to explore. The old jail is close by too!

The Philly steak and the Reuben are out of this world. You got to try this place. It's on the south side of the square in Newark, Ohio. You won't go wrong. Getting a little extra baba sauce on it too

The food was absolutely amazing! I got the Reuben and my friend got the pastrami fries. Both were very high quality! I would highly recommend Baba's Grill!
This was my third visit while staying overnight in Newark. Got my usual, the hungry sandwich packed with pastrami and corned beef, and fries. The seasoned fries were just the way I like them, thin and crispy. The sandwich was a disappointment. The meat was too salty. Ate only half the sandwich. The first two times the sandwich was great. The cook was preparing a large order, so I was told there’d be a 15-20 wait though I was the only person there, so presumably it was takeout. Had a similar wait the last two times I was there. Usually the meats are worth the wait. This time, no. The location is great , downtown across from the courthouse. I stay at the nearby Doubletree, and the area is very walkable and charming.

A new local favorite! Sandwiches were very tasty, service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great! The inside is clean with plenty of seating. The menu had plenty to choose from with a “build-your-own” sandwich section. The staff were very friendly. Can’t wait to go back!
