I ordered the 139.00 Thanksgiving meal and got one small cup of gravy to cover the whole meal. It's not enough to cover a serving of mashed potatoes. Its so disappointing not happy at all.

First, a big thank you and God bless to Bob Evans for honoring Veterans Day. Our meals were served fast, hot, and we're delicious. Our server was attentive, polite, and stayed on top of our drink refills. When we got to the register, my meal was removed from the bill as a thank you for serving, that was such an honor. Thank you again Bob Evans. 🙌

The food received from Bob Evan's on Cherry Valley Rd in Newark, Ohio through takeout order placed 09 18 2025 was extremely disappointing!
1. Burnt bun 2. Didn't receive a double side of fries, as ordered 3. Carrots were overcooked 4. Chicken dry, overcooked 5. Gravy from Mashed potatoes covered the whole bottom of the togo container, causing the honey butter chicken to taste like chicken gravy 6. Biscuits were very hard, making it impossible to split because all they would do was crumble

Only 1 star because 0 isn’t an option By far the absolute worse Bob Evans you could ask for. My chicken was burnt and half the size it normally was. My wife found a giant hair in her pancakes, there was no syrup, they forgot the bread. This one is going down hill. I have had a problem here once before and swore it off. But after a few years we came back…it’s gotten worse. Left a comment on the website with my contact info. Have yet to hear anything and this happened days ago. This place needs to close the doors. I took the grandchildren to a park. They wanted Bob Evans... They enjoyed the staff and the food!! I had a breakfast..Now they don't care about McDonald's or Wendy's.. Yeah!!
Reasonable prices, great ambience, and extremely friendly staff. I don’t usually do the whole ‘best kept secret’ thing but I love this little hideaway of awesome.
And yes, the food is good too 😂

My son and I are new to Ohio and stopped in for breakfast. The waitress was so kind and patient, making sure my son’s meal was completely dairy-free due to his allergy. To top it off, a mystery guest paid for our breakfast — such an incredible act of kindness and sgenerosity, especially in a new place like this, and it left a lasting impression on us.

We went here for breakfast because TeeJay's was packed and we didn't want to wait to be seated. Bob Evans wasn't busy but obviously there was a reason for that. The waitress was nice and took our order shortly after sitting down. However, we waited almost 45 minutes for our food to arrive and everything was cold. The bowl of gravy on my plate literally had a crust on it from sitting so long and the sandwich didn't have the cheese that it was supposed to have. The waitress was willing to have the food remade but we already waited for 45 minute, we were hungry, annoyed, and didn't want to wait even longer for however much time it was going to take to get the new food. We left and went to McDonald's. We should've just waited at TeeJay's at least our food would've been good after the long wait. Absolutely terrible Saturday morning experience at Bob Evans. We wouldn't typically go here anyways and this is exactly the reason why. We won't be going back.
