Called to place an order at 11:11 after looking at the scheduled times of business which says they don’t close untill 12 am on Friday nights, they answered said “we’re closed” and hung up the phone. I just wanted a pizza jeesh

I’ve been eating Christy’s pizza for well over 30 years. It’s my absolute favorite local pizza…BUT don’t tell me it’s going to be 45 minutes to an hour for delivery when I call after almost 2 hours and it’s just going in the oven with no apology or comp on my charges. I understand things happen but over estimate on the timing and at least apologize for the mistake!

I am typically a frequent customer of christys pizza. However, this evening was not a good experience. I Called three times listened to terrible hold music. Nobody ever answered the phone. I don't mind being on places on hold but the music is just awful. A live person should answer the phone and ask if one would mind being placed on hold.

I was born in Queens NY, and then moved to PA outside of Philly when I was around 9. The pizza from that was is just out of this world, and when I moved to Ohio I was so sad because honestly every place I’ve tried pizza I’ve been disappointed. I will note that I am also Italian so I’m a stickler about pizza 😂 On a whim yesterday My husband, kids and myself decided to give Christy’s a try. It was such a cozy atmosphere for starters. Every single thing we ordered was fresh hot and sooooooo tasty. There was a little bit of a mix up with my husbands calzone, but they made him a new one very fast and took care of us! He said it was absolutely delicious and he is a very picky man. The pizza was THE BEST PIZZA I have ever had in my 5 years of living in Ohio now. I honestly will never eat pizza from anywhere ever again, also very affordable prices! With every bite I just kept saying wow this is so good 😭
We will 100 percent be recommending to all our family and friends!

Their website says they close at 11:00 and then I call 5 times put on hold for 3 min or longer before I would hangup and call back,then someone answers and says sorry closed and hang up on me.Crappy service and I'll never or from here again.

First time and last time getting this pizza. Top 1” cheese was rubbery and very hard to chew. After 2 pieces found 2 black hairs which was enough for us. When I was pitching rest of pizza there were multiple more black hairs in box. Was purchased on Friday 8/9 pick up time around 6pm. Gibson was name spent $17 and had pepperoni and banana peppers.

Great little pizza joint close to old downtown Newark. Variety of options closely related to pizza, subs & wings. Love the crumbled sausage and the subs are so good! Will definitely be eating here again!
