The choices are much more than I expected and the employee who made mine was obviously knowledgeable about what’s vegan. I got an 11” build-your-own with a lot of toppings, including chickpeas and water chestnuts, which I’d never had the option for before now. Vegan cheese and chorizo, too. No need to subtract items. And the vegan options are listed along with everything else. They bake the pizzas in an oven that only takes 3 minutes and the pizza came out deliciously hot. There’s outdoor seating, too. So while Newark has very little to offer vegans, this was a good choice.

Service was wonderful and quick! Willing to help and make sure our pizzas were just right! Never had a woodfire pizza before and let me tell you..it was DELICIOUS!! I loved the option to custom make it with unlimited topings!! Highly recommend and can't wait to come back!! Oh and loved how affordable it was!

Love eating here. Manger is a women I dislike. I asked how much they was highering on the hour and when she said " $10 " I said I couldn't live off that wage and tould her I no longer wish to apply . She acted crazy and it was not that deep..... she was snappy and short saying " well idk what low wage is to you because that's not low " .... I just let her know she did not need to be rude and she kept it up so I hung up. Don't go here for a job. But food is grate. I eat here almost every day !!! ( I make $16 an hour working for a fast food place so $10 is truly low and i have the right to call jobs out on low wages )

You can definitely taste how the pizza is wood fired. The only issue I have is that the pizzas are relatively small, but that's only due to the oven itself.

Fantastic staff and food. They are super careful with food sensitivities and always offer to make our gluten free pizzas on a separate surface. They also put GF pizzas on pans so they don't contact the oven surface (where all the other pizzas are cooked) directly, and change gloves before handling the GF crusts or vegan cheese.
Dietary restrictions: This restaurant is absolutely fantastic if you are trying to work around food allergies/sensitivities.

Highly recommend stopping here if you are gluten intolerant. The pizza is baked in a shared oven so I don’t know how good it is for celiacs. I had them use the gluten-free crust to make cinnabread and I am in love!!
